Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- A man suspected of peddling ecstasy capsules to partygoers was arrested during a drug bust in Angeles City, early dawn today (June 5).
 
Joint operatives of Angeles City Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Angeles City Intelligence Branch conducted buy-bust operation at No. 4111-A Carlota De Leon, Brgy. Sta. Teresita, Angeles City which resulted in the arrest of Anthony FERRERAS y Samonte, 24 years old, single, jobless and resident of said place.
 
Confiscated from FERRERAS were: one (1) plastic container containing nine (9) pieces (4 red colored and 5 brown colored) tablets suspected to be ecstacy, one (1) zip lock plastic sachet containing two (2) pieces red and white colored tablet suspected to be ecstacy with an estimated street value of Php16,500.00 and Php.3,000.00 marked money.
 
Charges for violation of Section 5 and 11 of RA 9165 are already being filed against the suspect.
 
“We continue to conduct surveillance and monitoring against our watchlisted and targetlisted illegal drug personalities and even those suspected of engaging in illegal drugs activities and we will not stop until we put them in jail,” PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said.
