Tips on Personal Financial Management for PNP Personnel during COVID-19 Crisis

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Former PNP Chief and BuCor Director DG RONALD “BATO” M DELA ROSA graced the oath-taking ceremony of the 197 PRO3 recruits, earlier this morning (November 8 at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS administered the oath of office of the recruits following their presentation by PSSUPT NARVIN MANGUNE, Chief of the Regional Police Personnel and Human Resource Development Division (RPHRDD).

Of the 197 new police recruits, 166 are males and  31  are females. All were given the rank of Police Officer 1 (PO1).

The new police personnel were chosen after a stringent screening process conducted by the Regional Screening Committee on Recruitment headed by PCSUPT LEONARDO M CESNEROS , PRO3 Deputy Regional Director for Administration.

After their oath-taking ceremony, the new police recruits will further undergo one-year training at the Regional Training School 3 in Magalang, Pampanga.

“Habang kayo ay nasa organisasyon, huwag na huwag kayong gagawa ng katiwalian lalung-lalo na ang maiinvolve kayo sa iligal na droga at iba pang iligal na gawain. Magsisimula pa lamang kayo sa inyong mga tungkulin. Marami pa kayong pagdadaanang training. Never accept bribes or abuse your power dahil ang pinakaayaw namin ay ang mga korupt na pulis. The PNP does not condone policemen and policewomen who are corrupt, abusive and lazy,” DG Dela Rosa said to the police recruits.

DG Dela Rosa also advised the young policemen and policewomen to always do what is right and work from their heart and they will never fail.

The hiring of the 197 applicants is part of the PO1 Regular Recruitment Program of the PNP for the year 2018.
