CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- For the month of March, the contributions of women, particularly women in uniform, are being recognized by Police Regional Office 3 under the leadership of PBGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA.

The month-long celebration with the theme “We Make Change Work for Women” is highlighted by various activities which include the Battalion formation of parading elements composed of policewomen in PRO 3 which will be held on the last Monday of March. Further, several awards and recognitions will be given to deserving female PNP Commissioned Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers and Non-Uniformed Personnel.

Hon Lorna Silverio, Representative, 3rd District of Bulacan graced the kick-off ceremony of the National Women’s Month Celebration which coincided with the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held earlier this morning, March 2, 2020 followed by a motorcade.

“In honor of all the women in the police service, the command employs policewomen in the men-dominated realm like commanding a unit. This is to connect gender gaps and promote gender equality and women empowerment within the police organization,”  PBGEN SERMONIA said.
