Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga-  The push to save and protect the environment comes on the heels of the PNP’s program “Kaligkasan” which forges partnerships and collaborations  between PNP and the community, together with the Department of Tourism, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, other partner agencies, stakeholders and NGOs to support the government’s efforts in protecting and preserving the environment.

“Kaligkasan”- Kaligtasan at Kalikasan, a program that serves the community by protecting and preserving the environment for their safety and livelihood - PNP’s commitment to its Makakalikasan Core Value.

On Tuesday, PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA led the planting of 100 Royal Palm Trees and 2 Canary Palm Trees which were donated by Engr Paul Cruz, Charter President of San Ildefonso Buenavista Lions Club intended for the Kaligkasan EcoPark inside the Police Regional Headquarters which complements PRO3’s on-going project Rektang Urban Gardening.

“Planting trees is our own little way of helping protect our environment aside from beautifying the surroundings of the camp, the trees would help in providing fresh air to anyone,” PBGEN SERMONIA added.
