Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- One hundred sixteen (116) Alyansa ng Manggagawang Bukid sa Hacienda Luisita (AMBALA) members yield to authorities in Tarlac Friday in time with the celebration of 122nd Independence Day.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA said that the group are remnants of AMBALA, the farmers sector for Mass Support Group of the Larangang Gerilya sa Patag 2 (LGP2) and CPP-NPA in Hacienda Luisita.

The Central Luzon Chief distributed relief packs during the signing of Oath of Allegiance of the AMBALA members.

"This is in line with the efforts of our Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF ELCAC) and we have incorporated our on-going program at PRO3 which is the Rektang Bayanihan Bagong Pagkakaisa for all who will return to the folds of the law so that we could show to them that indeed, the government cares for them and would give them a better life thru livelihood assistance so that they could start anew," PBGEN SERMONIA added.
