Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Four suspected  drug peddlers were arrested by authorities while several bricks of alleged Marijuana dried leaves amounting to approximately Php 2.1 Million were seized during a buy bust operation in Angeles City, Monday afternoon (August 3).

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA identified the arrested suspects as: IVAN GURA Y GONZALES, High Value Target, resident of Convair st., Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City; ROMMEL GUECO Y TIAMZON A @ROMMEL, listed in ACPO Drug watchlist, 24 years old, resident of Hadrian st., Barangay Balibago, Angeles City; ALFIE CANDELARIA Y UBAS, resident of EPZA Pulong Cacutud, Angeles City; and NIKKA LOPEZ y MACAPAGAL, resident of 142 Lourdes Sur East Angeles City.

PBGEN SERMONIA further said that operatives of Police Station 4-Angeles City Police Office apprehended the suspects after seling one (1) plastic knot tied bag containing suspected marijuana leaves in exchange of One thousand Pesos  (Php1,000.00) marked money to a  poseur buyer during the anti-illegal drugs operation at Convair St, Hensonville Subdivision, Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City.

Seized from the suspects were  a total of twenty-four (24) bricks of suspected Marijuana approximately weighing 24.4 kilogram with an estimated value of Two million and one hundred thousand pesos (Php2,100,000.00) and  two (2) weighing scales.

"Thru our revitalized anti-drug campaign and community support even during this pandemic, we continue to yield positive results. As we keep on working double time to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region, we also urge every one to help us in our campaign against illegal drugs,” the top cop of Central Luzon added.
