Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON, on March 25, said that it has started the vaccination rollout among its personnel.
During the symbolic vaccination ceremony, the Medical Reserve Force (MRF) personnel from the different provincial/city police offices were among those who received the Astra Zenica vaccine.
The vaccination was conducted at the PRO3 Post Grandstand and a step by step procedure to ensure the smooth flow of the activity was followed.
PBGEN DE LEON also said that 179 personnel from the MRF were vaccinated, Thursday and other police frontliners will also be prioritized.
"It is important to emphasize that even as vaccines start to roll out here in PRO3, vaccines will complement, and not replace, the standard health measures that we know work. I urge everyone to please keep washing your hands, stay socially distanced, wear masks and face shields all the time. Get vaccinated when it is your turn, now is not the time to let up, now is not the time to let our guard down, our lives are at stake,"PBGEN DE LEON stated in his message.
As of today, there are 111 active cases of CoVid-19 in PRO3.
Meanwhile, the top cop of Central Luzon also inspected the 32 newly built rooms to be utilized as quarantine facilities inside the camp premises.
Consequently, amidst the pandemic, PRO3 continues to hone the skills of its personnel as 2 trainings for capability enhancement concluded on Thursday, the Chief of Police Qualification Course and Field Officers Training Course which were both held virtually and graced by PBGEN DE LEON. (PIO-3)
