Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that authorities are now investigating two (2) explosions that took place near the gate 5 of Jaen Municipal hall around 4:25 in the afternoon, Sunday ( December 20) during a power outage.
PBGEN DE LEON said that while joint elements of Jaen MPS, PPSC NEPPO and augmented personnel of nearby police stations were conducting security measures along the Compound of Municipal Hall of Jaen, they heard two (2) explosions near the gate 5 of said place. He further stated that initial investigation revealed the explosions came from IED with nails used as shrapnels for said IEDs.
Recovered from the place of explosions were pieces of motorcycle battery, scattered nails and bottle with suspected residue of gasoline. Further the incident transpired during power block out in the whole Municipality.
Jaen police requested the assistance of EOD NEPPO and is now reviewing the CCTV camera installed in said place for possible lead on the incident. (PIO-3)

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – PRO3 head PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON on Saturday ( December 19) said PRO3 cops will intensify police visibility and police presence as more areas are now relegated and more people are allowed to go out especially this Holiday season.
PBGEN DE LEON also said that the increased presence of police personnel to include the implementation of OPLAN BANDILLO for community awareness and information dissemination aims to prevent lawless elements to carry out their nefarious activities and at the same time to ensure strict implementation of the IATF guidelines and minimum health protocols such as wearing of face mask, face shield and physical distancing.
"We appeal to the public that if there is no need for you to go out to buy basic needs, please stay at home and avoid non-essential travels. We are asking for your full cooperation, to help save lives and contain the spread of Covid-19. Staying at home will protect you both from the virus and criminal elements who are waiting for their opportunity to prey on innocent victims, " PBGEN DE LEON added.
This weekend, the Central Luzon police chief and his team has started to personally inspect all commercial establishments, terminals and other places of public convergence to observe the strict implementation of the health protocols which is being replicated by provincial and city directors in all provinces and cities within the four corners of the region.(PIO-3)

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Central Luzon Police Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON has ordered for the conduct of a deeper and thorough investigation to fast track the solution of a shooting incident victimizing a PNP personnel assigned in Nueva Ecija.
On Thursday, December 17, PSsg Mark Levy PALILIO y Luno presently assigned at San Leonardo Police Station, Nueva Ecija Police Station, and resident of Purok Piligan, Brgy Daan Sarile, Cabanatuan City was in front of his beauty product store located at Maharlika Highway, Brgy Sangitan West, Cabanatuan City when shot to death by still unidentified motorcycle riding suspect, wearing black jacket and red helmet.
PBGEN DE LEON said that no stone will be left unturned to immediately establish the motive of the killing, identify and arrest the perpetrators.
" We strongly condemn the senseless killing of our policemen and we will not stop until we have put them in jail,"PBGEN DE LEON added. (PIO-3)

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON gave orders to Bataan police to conduct a thorough investigation and deeper probe on the shooting to death of PSSG FREDERICK JR ESCUADRO OCONER, PNP member assigned at Balanga City Police Station, Balanga City, Bataan presently residing at Sto. Nino, Brgy. Sapa, Samal, Bataan.
Investigation revealed that the victim was traversing along Vicinal road Sitio Adamson, Brgy. Sapa, Bataan when unidentified suspects on board a Toyota Avanza suddenly shot the victim several times using unknown caliber of firearms that resulted in the instantaneous death of the victim.
"We will exert all our efforts and look into the bottom of this.We continue to solicit the support of the general public in order to maintain peace and order, safety and security of our communities,” PBGEN DE LEON said. (PIO-3)

Aurora- 12, Bataan -18, Bulacan -78, Nueva Ecija- 32, Pampanga -40, Tarlac- 29, Zambales- 55, and Olongapo City-1.
While a total of 5 cities and 19 municipalities have existing ordinance banning firecrackers namely:
Aurora -Dinalungan; Bataan -Hermosa, Limay, Samal and Pilar; Bulacan- Meyacuayan; Pampanga-Guagua; Tarlac- Anao, Bamban, Camiling,Capas, Concepcion, Gerona, La Paz, Mayantoc, Moncada, Pañiqui, Pura, San Clemente, Sta Ignacia and Tarlac City; Zambales- San Marcelino; Angeles- Angeles City and Olongapo City- Olongapo City.
“We once again appeal to the public to refrain from using illegal firecrackers to avoid any injuries. Instead of firecrackers, we could all welcome the New Year with other forms of merriment," PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN DE LEON said. (PIO-3)
