CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3 joins the PNP in the commemoration of its 117th Police Service Anniversary held on September 20, 2018 at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga with PDG OSCAR D ALBAYALDE, Chief, PNP as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

 

                Based on the records of the National Historical Commission, Police Service as an institution takes its roots from the Insular Police Force that was created on August  8, 1901.

 

            This year’s 117th Police Anniversary theme: “Pagbabago sa Hanay ng Pulisya, Hatid ay Ligtas na Pamayanan Laban sa Korupsiyon, Krimen at Iligal na Droga” aptly manifests the PNP and PRO3’s continuing partnership for sustained proficiency and excellence in law enforcement towards a stable peace and order particularly in Region 3.

 

            The activity was highlighted with the message of PDG ALBAYALDE and the giving of recognition to deserving PNP personnel and best units in the region who have contributed vastly to the upliftment of PNP-PRO3.

PDG ALBAYALDE, in his message lauded the men and women of PRO3 for continuously doing their jobs efficiently. He further said that all PNP Personnel should reaffirm their commitment to police service and should keep on focusing on doing their work especially now that the police have a daunting task of eradicating illegal drugs.

 

            Among the individual awardees were: PSSUPT EDUARDO G TUAZON JR- Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration; PSSUPT ROMEO M CARAMAT JR - Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Operations; PSUPT BAYANI M RAZALAN- Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration; PSUPT HERYL L BRUNO- Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Operations; SPO4 Evelyn M Pineda- Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Administration; SPO2 Bernadeth R Leander- Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Operations; PO3 Reynald D Parentela - Best Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Administration; PO2 Richard I Danao- Best Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Operations; NUP Nestor M Cabusao- Best Non-Uniformed Personnel (Supervisory Level); NUP Teresita O Centeno- Best Non-uniformed personnel (Non-Supervisory Level).

            Also given awards for their sterling leadership were: PSSUPT RONALDO L LLANERA, Deputy Regional Director for Operations-Special Individual Award in the Campaign Against  Illegal Drugs; PSSUPT OSCAR P JACILDO, Chief, RPCRD-   Special Individual Award on the Implementation of OCA Challenge; PSUPT JEAN S FAJARDO, Chief, RID-  Special Individual Award on the Solution of Sensational Criminal Cases; PSUPT DARWIN CLARK B PAZ- Special Individual Award on the Solution of Sensational Cases; PSSUPT NARVIN N MANGUNE,PSSUPT JESUS A REBUA and PSSUPT RANDY Y ARCEO- Medalya ng Pambihirang Paglilingkod (TG-CLARK).  

The blessing and turn- over of the 55 newly acquired patrol vehicles, 49 of which are Hi-lux 4x2, 2 Starex and 4 Hyundai Elantra as well as the boodle fight with PDG ALBAYALDE followed shortly.

 

Meanwhile, in the afternoon the Rider’s Challenge 2018, a friendly match between police and civilian motorcycle enthusiasts was held.

PRO3 CONTINUES TO CONDUCT PREEMPTIVE EVACUATION TO RESIDENTS OF AFFECTED AREAS AND IS READY TO CARRY OUT DISASTER OPERATIONS AS TYPHOON OMPONG HITS CENTRAL LUZON.
 
AS OF PRESS TIME, 697 SAR PERSONNEL ARE DEPLOYED WHEREIN 287 ARE DEPLOYED IN NUEVA ECIJA, 150 IN BATAAN AND 139 IN AURORA, AND 36 RFMB3 PERSONNEL. A TOTAL OF 3,012 PERSONNEL ARE ON STANDBY READY TO BE DEPLOYED FOR SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS AND OTHER EMERGENCIES 24/7. 
 
REPORTS GATHERED FROM THE DIFFERENT PROVINCIAL POLICE OFFICES AND CITY POLICE OFFICES INDICATE THAT A TOTAL OF 39,078 INDIVIDUALS OR 10,500  FAMILIES ARE NOW SAFELY SHELTERED IN THE 1,425 EVACUATION CENTERS REGION WIDE. SO FAR, THE PROVINCE OF AURORA HAS 22,981 EVACUESS, BATAAN -837, BULACAN - 1,440, NUEVA ECIJA - 5,376, PAMPANGA- 1,696, TARLAC- 1,121, ZAMBALES-5,537 AND OLONGAPO CITY-90.

CENTRAL LUZON POLICE IS STILL PLACED IN FULL ALERT STATUS AS IT IS EXPECTING VOLUME OF RAINWATER COMING FROM THE MOUNTAINS TO SWELL PAMPANGA RIVER AND OTHER RIVERS IN REGION 3 THAT MIGHT CAUSE MASSIVE FLOODING IN LOW-LYING AREAS, BASED ON THE INFORMATION ANNOUNCED BY PAGASA. 
 
WE ARE  CLOSELY MONITORING THE SITUATION AND AN HOURLY SITREP IS CONTINUOUSLY BEING DONE TO IMMEDIATELY ADDRESS ANY EVENTUALITIES THAT MIGHT OCCUR DUE TO INCESSANT RAINS. CONTINUOUS UTILIZATION OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND COORDINATION WITH TRI-MEDIA FOR SAFETY TIPS DISSEMINATION IS CONDUCTED AS ZERO CASUALTY IS BEING AIMED.

           CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- The week-long celebration of the National Crime Prevention Week with this year’s theme “Mamamayan, Sama-Samang Makialam upang Krimen at Korapsyon ay Hadlangan” culminated in Police Regional Office 3 with the awarding of PRO3 deserving units and personnel earlier this morning, September 10 at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

            The program coincided with the traditional Monday flag raising ceremony highlighted by the presentation of awards and recognition by Dir. Rodolfo G. Santos, NAPOLCOM Regional Director to deserving PRO3 commissioned and non-commissioned PNP personnel that supported and contributed to various law enforcement and PCR-activities within the region. 

            The awardees include the 10 Police Stations with the Highest Crime Clearance and Solution Efficiency: PSINSP LARRY VILLANUEVA, COP, Morong MPS; PCINSP JAYSON CONSTANTINO, COP, Sto. Tomas MPS; PCINSP RANNY CASILLA, COP, San Leonardo MPS; PCINSP JOEL DELA CRUZ, COP, Jaen MPS; PSUPT JULIO LIZARDO, COP, Plaridel MPS; PCINSP MOHAMMAD TAUFH ABDUHALIM, COP, Zaragoza MPS; PSINSP GREGORIO BAUTISTA, COP, Peñaranda MPS; PCINSP MELANIO SANTIAGO, COP, Limay MPS; PCI RESTITUTO GRANIL, COP, Balagtas MPS; and, PCINSP MARLO DANGAKANG, COP, Hermosa MPS; for crime solution of Rhema Bertulfo Murder Case: PSUPT WILSON ALICUMAN, COP, Mexico MPS; for crime solution of Barangay Kagawad Romeo Bondoc Murder Case: PSUPT JOE NEIL ROJO; and, for PNP Model Families Winners: PSUPT ARWIN TADEO of Bulacan PPO and SPO4 Charles Cuaresma of Aurora PPO.

            Also given award were the following: PSINSP EMERSON ADAVILES, SPO3 Roman Quizon and SPO2 Beverly Castro-  for the arrest of Emmanuel BARROGA, listed no. 1 Most Wanted Person Provincial level and No. 3 nationwide for Carnapping: PCINSP ERIC REVERENTE, PCINSP SEAN LOGRONIO and SPO3 Siegfried Framil- for the arrest of Glen JUNATAS, no. 1 Most Wanted Person Regional level for Carnapping; PSINSP MARK ABAJA, SPO3 Inocensio Datoy and SPO1 Rocky Ramos-  for the arrest of Laurence CALUCAG, wanted person for Carnapping and PINSP MARLON AGNO, SPO3 Jeejune Cabagbag and SPO3 Bong Toledo -for the recovery of nine (9) motor vehicles involved in “rent tangay/pasalo” scheme.

            “Our week-long celebration included different activities that highlighted the importance of a solid partnership between the police and the community in the effective maintenance of peace and order and community development,” PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said.

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga-  More or less 600 personnel are now deployed in affected areas of Region 3 to conduct search and rescue operations as Typhoon Ompong hits Central Luzon.
 
PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said that about 2,000 PRO3 personnel are also on standby and ready to be deployed as the need arises.  
 
As of press time, 287 SAR personnel are deployed in Nueva Ecija, 150 in Bataan and 94 in Tarlac.
 
“We are still on full alert status, our Disaster Incident Management Task Group is already activated and I have directed our SAR Teams to conduct search and rescue operations.We also continuously  utilize social media and seek assistance to our tri-media in disseminating safety tips for this eventuality as we aim for zero casualty.  I will also send additional PNP personnel to thwart criminal elements especially looters and profiteers who may take advantage of the situation,” PCSUPT CORPUS also stated.
       Camp Olivas, City of Fernando, Pampanga--- The No. 1 Most Wanted Person in Bocaue was arrested by police authorities during a manhunt operation in Bocaue, Bulacan, yesterday (September 7).
 
Around 12:30 p.m., joint operatives of Bocaue Municipal Police Station and Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Branch proceeded at Brgy. Caingin, Bocaue, Bulacan to serve Warrant of Arrest against Chris John SARDEA y Legaspi, Top 1 Most Wanted Person of Bocaue and resident of said place.
 
    Said warrant was issued by Hon. Judge Virgilita B. Castillo of RTC, Malolos City, Bulacan for Rape with no bail recommended.
 
PRO3 Regional Director AMADOR V CORPUS said that, “maximum efforts to account and arrest all persons sought by law is continuously being carried by your police and we will not stop until we have all put them in jail.”
