          Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- A still unidentified motornapper was killed during shootout with police authorities while his cohort managed to escape yesterday (Dec 14) in Talavera, Nueva Ecija.
            Based on reports that reached this Office, victim identified as Leonard Santos personally appeared at the police station and reported that while he was driving his motorcycle along Brgy. Maestrang Kikay, Talavera, Nueva Ecija, two (2) unidentified male persons blocked his way and at gun point forcibly took his motorcycle.
Personnel of Talavera Municipal Police Station immediately conducted hot pursuit operation and when chanced upon the suspects, the police were fired upon which ensued in a shootout and resulted in the instantaneous death of one of the suspects while his cohort managed to escape.Recovered form the crime scene was the stolen red Suzuki Smash motorcycle. Verification is still being made for the identification of slain suspect.

          Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – With the continuous implementation of PRO3’s enhanced focused police operations, a remarkable decrease of 22% in crime incidents last week here in Region 3 has been noted.
          During the weekly convening of the Regional Oversight Committee on Enhanced Managing Police Operations, PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT JOEL NAPOLEON M CORONEL revealed that recorded crimes from November 26 to December 2, 2018 has been cut down by almost 22% in the following week of December 3 to 9, 2018 especially on the eight focused crimes namely: MURDER, HOMICIDE, ROBBERY, THEFT, PHYSICAL INJURY, MC MOTORNAPPING, MV MOTORNAPPING and RAPE. 
            PCSUPT CORONEL also said that the recorded incidents on eight focused crimes for November 26 to December 2, 2018 was one hundred eight (108) while only eighty five (85) crime incidents are recorded from December 3 to 9, 2018 which is twenty -three (23) cases or 22% lower while the Crime Clearance Efficiency is 72.31% and the Crime Solution Efficiency is 45.51%.
           “This significant decrease in crimes can be attributed to the leveling up of our anti-criminality measures particularly on motorcycle riding suspects and our resumed anti-drug campaign and community partnership. We continue to appeal to the public for their continuous cooperation in our crime prevention efforts in Central Luzon," PRO3 Regional Director JOEL NAPOLEON CORONEL further stated
         promotees CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director PCSUPT JOEL NAPOLEON  M CORONEL administered the Oath Taking of thirty six (36) newly promoted Non-Uniformed Personnel this morning at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga which also coincided with the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony.
          PCSUPT CORONEL said that the 36 civilian employees are replacements for the civilian employees who have resigned and retired from the PNP service.
         “Only 2% of our police service is comprised of civilian staff. The contributions you make are as vital as that of our men and women in uniform; hindi man lagi nababanggit, alam ko na malaki ang papel at kontribusyon ninyo sa aming tagumpay. You are our unsung heroes who play a valuable role in our organization. You help us behind the scenes every day, as radio operators, crime registrars and clerical staff,   this is why we need you and we know that we can count on you especially that, almost all of us, police officers are out in the streets safeguarding our communities. This is the crucial time that we must work hand in hand to achieve our goals of sustaining peace and order in Central Luzon,” PCSUPT CORONEL stated in his message.

            Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Five (5) persons sought by law including a foreigner were arrested during separate manhunt operations conducted by Central Luzon cops over the weekend.

            Joint operatives of Castillejos MPS, Zambales 2nd PMFC and Mabalacat CPS armed with alias Warrant of Arrest proceeded at  Brgy Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga and arrested Erick MARCO y Jardin, ranked No. 7 Most Wanted Person in Castillejos, Zambales. Said warrant was issued by Hon. Judge Gemma Theresa B. Hilario-Logronio of RTC Branch 73, Olongapo City for eight (8) counts of Rape and Violation of RA 7610 with no bail recommended.

            Also, operatives of San Antonio MPS arrested Jenny LACTAOEN y Dela Cruz, ranked No. 5 Most Wanted Person in San Antonio, Zambales, by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court-Branch 74, Olongapo City for Qualified Theft with recommended bail of Php58,000.00.

            Dennis GARCIA y Cristobal, ranked no. 7 Most Wanted Person of Olongapo City Police Station 2, was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by RTC Branch 75 for Attempted Rape with recommended bail of Php.72,000.00.

            Similarly, joint personnel of Capas MPS and Regional Intelligence Unit 3 conducted manhunt operation in Balintawak, Quezon City which resulted in the arrest of Joshua SALONGA y Perez, ranked no. 7 most wanted person of Capas MPS, by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by RTC-Branch 66, Capas, Tarlac for Robbery with recommended bail of Php.24,000.00.

            Likewise, Angeles City-Police Station 4 operatives armed with warrant of arrest for Theft and Serious Physical Injuries proceeded at Walking Street, Fields Ave., Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City and arrested Joo Hyun LEE @Shinji, 40 years old, single, Korean National, manager, and currently residing at 404-C May Flower St., Brgy. Ninoy Aquino, Angeles City.

            “We will have no let-up in our campaign against wanted persons and we will keep on conducting manhunt operations to put these criminals in jail," PRO3 Director PCSUPT JOEL NAPOLEON M CORONEL said.

drug peddler            Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Olongapo City’s listed nr 1 drug peddler and his cohort were arrested during an anti-illegal drugs operation conducted by police authorities in Olongapo City, yesterday morning (Dec 5).

            Operatives of Olongapo City Police Station 1 conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. West Bajac-Bajac, Olongapo City which resulted in the arrest of Florenio MICLAT JR. y Nuñez @Jun Miclat, ranked no. 1 in the drug priority target list of Olongapo City Police Office, 56 years old, resident of Castillejos, Zambales and Ronnie CUBILLA y Panao, resident of Taytay, Rizal.

            Confiscated from the duo’s possession were twenty-four (24) plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one (1) orange Ford Ranger pick-up truck with conduction no. CO K605 and Php7,000.00 marked money.

            Charges for Violation of Sec 5 and 11 of RA 9165 were filed against the suspects docketed under NPS no. III-10-INQ-18L-00869-00870.

            “We are continuing our unwavering efforts to eradicate all forms of illegal drugs in the region and we will keep on hunting down all those who are involved in the proliferation of illegal drugs, we will not stop until we have arrested them and put them to jail,” PRO3 Acting Regional Director, PCSUPT JOEL NAPOLEON M CORONEL said.
