Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- An incumbent barangay captain and his two (2) tanods were arrested by police authorities during an anti-illegal drugs operation in Meycauayan City, Bulacan, yesterday (April 30).

Around 11:45 a.m., operatives of Meycauayan City Police Station conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. Malhacan, Meycauayan City, Bulacan which resulted in the arrest of Delfin SAN PABLO, incumbent barangay captain of Barangay Malhacan and a candidate for Barangay and SK Elections 2018 and his two barangay tanods identified as Ferdinand LLAOSA y Travero and Jimmy GARCIA y Guzman, all residents of said place.

Confiscated from the trio’s possession were five (5) sachets of suspected shabu weighing 14.9 grams with street value of more or less Php.66,000.00, caliber .45 Norinco pistol loaded with seven (7) ammunition and illegal drugs paraphernalia.

Charges for Violation of Section 5 and Section 11 Article II of RA 9165 as Amended by RA 10640, RA 10591 Illegal Possession of Firearms and Omnibus Election Code ‘Gunban’ are already filed against the arrested suspects.

“This again shows the relentlessness of our police operatives to put a stop to the proliferation of illegal drugs as we are tripling our efforts to arrest drug pushers including government officials who are included in our targetlist and watchlist," PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said.

 

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- A police officer's prompt action resulted in the immediate arrest of a robber after stealing a mobile phone from an 18-year old in a jitney terminal in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, earlier today (April 30).

Arrested suspect was identified as Alfredo BAJIO JR. y Cabague, 27 years old, single, jobless and resident of Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

Investigation disclosed that BAJIO grabbed the cellular phone and cash of victim identified as John Harman Miranda while they were inside the terminal's rest room. The latter immediately sought help from PO1 Frederick Pimental, member of Angeles City Police Station 4 who was conducting patrol at said place which led in the arrest of the suspect.

Seized from BAJIO’s possession were one (1) Cherry Mobile smart phone worth Php.2,000.00 and cash amounting to Php.320.00.

As maximum police presence in places of public convergence is being carried out, lawless elements are easily apprehended and are prevented from doing their nefarious activities. Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Thirteen (13) suspects were arrested and numerous illegal drugs were confiscated during series of anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by Central Luzon cops, yesterday (April 29).

Six (6) persons were arrested by Pampanga police operatives identified as Jerry SIRON y Pineda a.k.a. Bakbak, Jaybie FERNANDEZ y Gamboa and Arlene Madlambayan-SUNGLAO a.k.a. Tisay, all residents of Mabalacat City, Pampanga, Nestor BUCASAS y Nucum of Bamban, Tarlac; R-Jay YAYA y De Mesa of Guagua, Pampanga; and, Efren BERNABE JR. y Castro a.k.a. Dong of Macabebe, Pampanga.

Seized from their possession were a total of nine (9) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, illegal gambling paraphernalia, cash bets and marked money.

In Bataan, Allen BAUTISTA y Romero of Balanga City, Bataan; Marvin VILLANUEVA y De Guzman of Orani, Bataan; and, Mark Anthony CRUZ y Aquino of Mariveles, Bataan were arrested by police during separate buy-bust operations.

Confiscated from their possession were eight (8) sachets of suspected shabu and marked money.

Bulacan police operatives were able to arrest Bernardo BERNARDO y Brigino a.k.a. Bado of Sta. Maria, Bulacan and Lex ARBULEDA y Domingo a.k.a. Lek-Lek of Pandi, Bulacan in the act of selling and in possession of four (4) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.

Also arrested were Lester TAN y Carreon, included in the drugs watch list of Concepcion MPS, resident of Concepcion, Tarlac   and Edgardo FERNANDEZ y Buan of Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

Confiscated from each of the suspects were two (2) plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and marked money.

The arrested suspects were detained, facing charges of Violation of RA 9165.

PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS, PRO3 RD, commended the operatives for the arrest of the drug suspects. “As the PNP’s campaign against illegal drugs continues, we have the citizenry on our side as evidenced by the many tips we keep getting from the public which lead to police operations and arrests of illegal drugs personalities”, he added.

 

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – PRO3 Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS announced that Central Luzon police is ready for the commemoration of Labor Day, including the mass actions expected to be staged by labor and transport organizations all over the region on May 1, 2018
 
PCSUPT  CORPUS said that a security plan has been laid out for the event. As in the past, there would be deployment for crime prevention and control.
 
A total of 220 PNP personnel from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 (RMFB3) will be dispatched for CDM augmentation at the National Capital Region, if the need arises during the event.
 
He further stated that all PPOs/CPOs have alerted their CDM personnel and tactical units on the ground starting April 30, 2018 ready to respond for any eventualities within their areas of jurisdiction.
 
Inspecting team from the Regional Headquarters will conduct CDM readiness inspection among the different PPOs/CPOs to check their preparedness.
 
Relatedly, all PNP contingents are reminded to observe "Maximum Tolerance", the PNP's standing policy when it comes to handling mass action on the protesters. Relatedly, Police Assistance Desks (PADs) and Motorists Assistance Centers (MACs) are still in placed in convergence points like bus terminals, airport, seaports and recreational areas including highways, main thoroughfares and crime prone areas to ensure maximum police presence until June 13, 2018, as "Ligtas SumVac 2018" is very much in effect.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Police arrested six (6) wanted persons in separate manhunt operations conducted yesterday (April 28) region wide.

Police operatives in Nueva Ecija arrested three (3) persons sought by law identified as: Jobelle FAUSTINO y Santos of San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija for Qualified Theft; Cynthia CORPUZ y Garcia of Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija for Violation of RA 9208; and, Michael Jan TORRES y Willy of Gen. Natividad, Nueva Ecija for Qualified Theft.

In Zambales, two (2) fugitives were arrested namely: Ryan ASUNCION of Castillejos Zambales for Murder and Solomon HALLARDO y Abrigo of Iba, Zambales for Violation of RA 9262.

Also arrested wanted person was Jimmy ENRIQUEZ y Bulinas of Meycauayan City, Bulacan for Violation of RA 9262.

PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS remarked that Police Regional Office 3 will continue its intensified campaign to put lawless elements and wanted persons behind the bars of justice. He further stated that PRO3’s arrest rate will keep on increasing as series of operations against wanted persons are being conducted.
