            CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3 joins in the conduct of the 2nd Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill held in the afternoon of June 20, 2019.

            PBGEN JOEL NAPOLEON M CORONEL, RD, PRO3 said that the earthquake drill/simulation aims to help prepare PNP personnel and other employees inside the camp for an earthquake.

            The activity started with a one- minute blowing of siren, wherein all PNP personnel, teachers, students and other employees inside their respective offices drop on the floor, find cover under their tables and hold on to it. Afterwards, all participants with their “Go bags” went outside, with both hands covering their heads, walked in a single file and proceeded at the designated evacuation area which is at the PRO3 Parade Ground. 

            The Earthquake drill is an annual exercise designed for the awareness, preparedness and readiness of PRO3 PNP personnel and employees during an actual earthquake.

            Meanwhile, in an interview, PCOL OSCAR P JACILDO, Chief, Regional Police Community Affairs and Development Division of PRO3 stated that “We always have to do preparations through protracted drills like this. It is not a matter of lacking, it is keeping in tune, keeping abreast”.

            More or less one thousand (1,000) PNP personnel including teachers, students and other employees inside the camp participated in the drill. Also participated during said activity were personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection.

            Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN JOEL NAPOLEON M CORONEL said that nine (9) Most  Wanted persons in Central Luzon were arrested, yesterday (June 5) as the campaign against wanted persons is continuously being carried out region wide. 

            Three (3) wanted persons sought by law were arrested by police authorities in Nueva Ecija by virtue of Warrants of Arrest identified as: Byron CAÑOSA y Tigolo, ranked no.1 Most Wanted of Cuyapo MPS; Andres ALBERTO y Carbonel, ranked no.1 Most Wanted of Talugutug MPS; and Ricardo VALDEZ SR. y Manego, ranked no. 2 Most Wanted of Pantabangan MPS, Nueva Ecija

            Bulacan police operatives arrested the following: Raymond RAMOS y Varientos, ranked no. 7 Most Wanted of Norzagaray MPS; Jeffrey ARIES y Miranda a.k.a. Barako , ranked no. 10 Most Wanted of Malabon CPS; and Mary Rose ORTEGA y Favorito, ranked no. 4 Most Wanted of Bulakan MPS.

            Also arrested were Ralph Jer HULIP y Policarpio of Mabalacat City, Pampanga, ranked no. 3 Most Wanted of Mabalacat CPS; Leonardo ORDONIO y Camat of San Quintin, Pangasinan, ranked no. 2 Most Wanted of Baler MPS; and, Marlon VILLOSO y Santos of San Antonio, Zambales, ranked no. 5 Most Wanted of San Antonio MPS.

            All wanted persons were arrested by Virtue of Warrant of Arrest for cases ranging from Rape, Homicide, Qualified Theft and Acts of Lasciviousness.          

            “The days of these persons sought by law are numbered as we will not stop our campaign to hunt them down. We will continue to find, arrest and put them behind the bars of justice as we vow to eradicate all forms of lawlessness in the region,” PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN JOEL NAPOLEON M CORONEL said.

            Camp Olivas City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Natives in Capaz, Tarlac will no longer have difficulty buying their children school supplies as two hundred fifty (250) packs of school supplies were donated to them on Saturday.

            The PRO3 Riders led by PRO3 Deputy Regional Director for Operations PCOL RHODERICK ARMAMENTO together with the members of the 301ST and 304th Maneuver Companies of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion members of the Alpha Omega Fraternity and Sorority International Order Academicians and Los Angelenos Riders rode their way at the foot of Mt Pinatubo to reach out to the natives and gave school supplies to their children.

            “This is part of our social responsibility as citizens of our country. As law enforcers, we do not only go after lawless elements, we also help ease poverty in our own little way. We also thank our civilian partners who help us fulfill this undertaking,” PCOL ARMAMENTO said.

            “I also encouraged our Aeta brothers and sisters to enroll their children in public school since basic education can surely change their way of life,” he added.

        CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- Due to the tight implementation of “Ligtas Balik -Eskwela 2018” carried out by Police Regional Office 3, no single crime incident was reported victimizing students as the first day of classes opened, yesterday June 3 within the region.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN JOEL NAPOLEON M CORONEL said that the “zero- crime incident” can be attributed to the diligent efforts of our PNP personnel to ensure the safety and security of the students especially among the school vicinities.

“We have deployed more than three thousand personnel for the opening of classes and I commend them for their assiduousness in performing their duties, indeed, it paid off with no single incident happened. I would also thank the public for their cooperation and support to us,” PBGEN CORONEL said.  

“ Relatedly, our Police Assistance Desks and Motorists Assistance Centers are still in placed until June 13 in convergence points particularly in bus terminals, airport, seaports and recreational areas including highways, main thoroughfares and crime prone areas to ensure maximum police presence,” he added.


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3 is all geared up to provide the utmost assistance among students on the opening of classes coming June 3, 2019.


PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN JOEL NAPOLEON M CORONEL, revealed that guidelines were already established in accordance with “IMPLAN 22/2019 Ligtas Balik- Eskwela 2019”, a directive emanated from the National headquarters that is being conducted annually.

He bared that a total of 3,394 PNP personnel will be deployed in the different provinces to provide public safety and police visibility in schools, colleges, universities and its nearby areas, which are most likely to be the chosen target place of criminal elements.  

Police Assistance Desks, manned by a team with a police commissioned officer as its leader, will also be established in every school on June 3, 2019 to pre-empt and respond for any eventuality. 

He directed all field officers to personally visit the different schools and coordinate with school officials in order to deter lawless elements from doing illegal activities such as hold-up, pick-pocketing, snatching, drug pushing and even kidnapping of hapless students.

Additionally, police will be working hand in hand with the traffic auxiliaries in traffic control and direction wherein volume of students will travel to and from the various schools in the different cities/provinces seeing that road traffic is expected to elevate.
