Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Twelve (12) days before the May 9 elections, Police Regional Office 3 on Wednesday conducted a “showdown inspection and logistical readiness test” of police equipment that will be utilized for security operations during the electoral process.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN MATTHEW P BACCAY said that this is to guarantee the electorate of the readiness of police units to perform election duty as deputized agents of the Commission on Election.
PBGEN BACCAY said that enough policemen and policewomen will be deployed on polling precincts to ensure the safety of the voting public, and election officials as well as to enforce minimum health protocols.

The showdown inspection and logistical readiness test of police equipment was held simultaneously in all Police Regional Offices and Provincial/City Police Offices nationwide.
