Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – As Central Luzon cops continue its intensified campaign against illegal drugs, four (4) suspected drug peddlers were arrested and seized more than Php2.1 million worth of ‘Shabu’ during separate anti-illegal drug operations in Pampanga and Bulacan on Monday, July 1.
Joint elements of Mabalacat CPS drug enforcement unit and RPDEU3 conducted a buy-bust operation at Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga that resulted in the arrest of three (3) drug individuals identified as Nympha COMPAHINAY y Salup alias “Nympha”, 50 years old; Renato DAVID y Pamintuan alias “Rene”, 58 years old; and Visitacion ORNIDO y Madrelejos alias “Bising”, 47 years old. Seized from the trio were one (1) pc knot-tied transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “Shabu” weighing more or less 250 grams with estimated DDB value of Php1,700,000.00; one (1) piece of Php1,000.00 bill used as buy-bust money; two (2) pieces body-bag; one (1) piece digital weighing scale; Php1,200.00 cash; and two (2) pieces android cellphones.
Meanwhile, Enmark MIRANO y Espinosa, 35 years old was arrested by elements of Bulacan PDEU/PIU-Bulacan PPO during a buy-bust operation conducted at Brgy. Poblacion, Guiguinto, Bulacan wherein confiscated evidence from the suspect were 14 medium heat-sealed plastic containers containing white crystalline substance suspected to be ‘shabu’ weighing more or less 60 grams with estimated DDB value of Php408,000.00.
Appropriate charges for violations of Sec. 5 and 11 of Art II of R.A. 9165 are being readied against the suspects for court referral.
“Continuous proactive operations are being carried out as PRO3 invigorates its efforts to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve its quest for a drug- free Central Luzon,” PBGEN MATTHEW P BACCAY, PRO3 Regional Director said.
