Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Central Luzon cops seized over Php 1.3M worth of illegal drugs and arrested five (5) suspected drug peddlers during separate anti-illegal drug bust operations in Pampanga and Bulacan on July 30, 2022.
Joint elements of RPDEU-3, SCU3-RID, DEG-SOU3, PIU-PAMPANGA PPO, Floridablanca MPS were able to arrest Mark Anthony DULAY y Frias @MACMAC, male, jobless, resident of Brgy Calantas, Floridablanca, Pampanga thru anti-illegal drugs operation in Brgy Calantas, Floridablanca, Pampanga and seized fifteen (15) sachets of suspected shabu weighing 73 grams and amounting to Php 483,000.00.
In Bulacan, three (3) suspected drug peddlers were also arrested in Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Guiguinto, Bulacan by joint elements of PIU-PDEU Bulacan PPO together with personnel of SOU3-PDEG, and Guiguinto MPS during anti-illegal drug operation identified as Faisal LAWANZA y Disomnong; Faisal RAMPA y NMN; and Makakna MAKAANGON y Disomnong, all residents of Fairview, Quezon City. thirteen (13) sachets of suspected shabu weighing 60 grams amounting to Php 408,000.00 were seized from the suspects.
Similarly, joint operatives of PIU-PDEU Bulacan PPO together with SOU3-PDEG, and Malolos CPS conducted anti-illegal drugs operation in Brgy. Bulihan Malolos City, Bulacan against Norhata HASSAN y Taratingan, female, factory worker, and resident of Brgy. Bulihan, Silang, Cavite. Seized from the suspect were ten (10) sachets of suspected shabu weighing 70 grams amounting to Php 476,000.00.
A total of thirty-eight (38) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing approximately 203 grams with a street value of Php1,367,000.00 and Php 3,000.00 bill as marked money.
Appropriate charges for violations of Section 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 are being prepared for court referral against the suspects.
“We are relentless in our campaign against illegal drugs and we will keep on conducting anti-drug operations to stop its proliferation, may this serve as a warning to those who are still involved in illegal drug trade and illegal activities”, PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN MATTHEW P BACCAY said.
