Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- PRO3 Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that eleven (11) females believed to be engaged in prostitution were rescued by police authorities in Tarlac City on Tuesday, April 27.
According to the report of PCOL RENANTE CABICO, Acting PD, Tarlac PPO, joint operating units of RATTG3, WCPD-RIDMD, Tarlac PPO & Tarlac CPS together with CSWD Tarlac City conducted rescue operation to eleven (11) victims of Human trafficking at Sherwood 2 hotel, Brgy. San Isidro, Tarlac City, Tarlac with the arrest of three (3) suspects/pimps (CICL).
Initial investigation revealed that the suspects/pimps (CICL) were recruiting girls and offering them for sexual service in exchange for money
Arrested suspects/pimps (CICL) assisted by CSWD underwent booking procedure for documentation and appropriate charges for violation of RA 10364 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act)is being prepared for filling in court.
