CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- In an effort to further attune stakeholders on the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L PLAN 2030, Police Regional Office 3 held its first Regional Advisory Council Summit on March 21, 2018 at the Max’s Restaurant, JASA, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Anchored on the theme “Building strong linkages geared towards the attainment of Genuine Transformation”, the one-day summit, the first ever in the region was participated in by the different advisory councils of the different PNP units in the region.
During the summit, a workshop was conducted wherein the participants were able to share their experiences and best practices as well as outputs focusing on the different areas such as identifying Goals, Gaps and Steps to be undertaken which are aligned in the PNP P.AT.R.O.L Plan 2030.
PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said that the summit is part of the continuing transformation strategy for the PNP to achieve its goal to become capable, effective, and credible police force. With the use of the Performance Governance System (PGS), the PNP seeks to translate its vision into concrete and measurable results. It also aligned its operational activities with bigger and long-term objectives to be monitored using established scoring system.
“We expect to generate interests among members of the advisory councils to further the program and activities of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L PLAN 2030. This is instrumental for the enhancement of current programs and at the same time development of future projects and activities towards the attainment of PNP P.A.T.R.O.L PLAN 2030,” PCSUPT CORPUS added.
The Summit was graced by PDDG RAMON APOLINARO, Deputy Chief PNP for Administration and Chairman of the Technical Working Group on P.A.T.R.O.L PLAN 2030 as the Guest of Honor and Speaker with PCSUPT NOEL BARACEROS, Director of PNP-Center for Police Strategy Management, PCSUPT REX MILTON DOLINO (RET), Vice Chairman, Internal Affairs, National Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (NAGPTD), and PSUPT ERCY NANETTE TOMAS as resource speakers.
