CORONAVIRUS AWARENESS RESPONSE AND EMPOWERMENT (CARE) INFODEMIC DRIVE ROLLS OUT IN PRO3
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- A seminar that instills DOH protocols and other necessary information to the community is currently rolling at Police Regional Offiice 3, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Dubbed as the Coronavirus Awareness Response and Empowerment (CARE) Infodemic Drive, the two- day seminar is from January 8 to 9, 2021.
CARE is a series of socio-civic activities which aim to attain maximum information dissemination.
Coronavirus Awareness Response and Empowerment (CARE) Infodemic Drive was envisioned to help in the fight against Corona Virus 19 through conveyance of its origin, symptoms, complications, mode of transmission, prevention and help dispel misinformation about COVID-19.
Facilitated by the Police Community Affairs and Development Group and the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division under PLTCOL ROMELL VELASCO, the seminar has a total of 66 participants coming from the different provincial/city police offices and Regional Mobile Force Battalion.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON graced the opening ceremony and extended his appreciation to the PCADG under PBGEN ERIC NOBLE for coming on board and for bringing CARE to PRO3.
"We are more than 10 months into the Covid-19 pandemic and, sadly, infections and deaths are still accelerating in many parts of the world and even here in our country at the same time, the covid-19 pandemic is just a reminder about the huge problem of misinformation, disinformation and digital hoaxes which can create confusion and distrust and undermine an effective public health response. The most important factor in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 is to empower the people with the right information.
Tayo ay nakikipagtulungan sa iba't- ibang sangay ng pamahalaan upang mapigilan pa ang paglaganap ng covid-19 at patuloy tayong umiisip ng paraan upang lalo pang mapigilan ang paglaganap ng pandemya," PBGEN DE LEON said.
PBGEN DE LEON further instructed the participants to cascade what they have learned to their colleagues when they go back to their respective units. (PIO-3)

RANDOM DRUG TEST FOR PRO3 PERSONNEL
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga— In line with the directives of PRO3 Regional Director, PBEN VALERIANO T DE LEON to carry out the stern implementation of Internal Cleansing and campaign against illegal drugs in all police units, Bataan Police Provincial Office and the Regional Headquarters Support Unit conducted random drug testing to all personnel of said units on January 5 and 6, 2021.
As part of the stern implementation of Internal Cleansing which is in line with the guidelines of PNP Chief PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, surprise random drug testing for all policemen and even officials are being conducted and no one is exempted.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON also said that continuous monitoring and checking of all PNP personnel for any drug-related issues and concerns is being conducted to make sure that the illegal drugs clearing activities are directed to all. (PIO-3)

PRO3 BEGINS 2021 WITH 27th ETHICS DAY
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- The men and women of the Police Regional Office 3 welcomed the new working year with the 27th PNP Ethics Day which coincided with the Traditional Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, January 4 held at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Anchored on the theme "Nagkakaisang Pambansang Pulisya, Sama-sama sa Serbisyong Tapat at Marangal para sa Bayan," PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON urged PRO3 personnel to religiously adhere to the ethical doctrine of the organization and put emphasis on the true meaning of public service.
PBGEN DE LEON said that "there is no need to memorize the core values and the Police Officer's Creed stipulated in RA 6713, just remember and remember by heart, every police officer carries the public image and reputation of the whole organization. Your words and actions, at all times are a reflection on your colleagues, your officers, your Regional Director and your Chief, PNP."
The PNP Ethics Day is an annual celebration to constantly remind and reinforce the adherence of PNP personnel on the ethical doctrine which contains the moral values, discipline, professional and morally upright policemen.

CL COPS RECEIVE PPEs, DONATION from PATROL PARTYLIST
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- The PATROL PARTYLIST represented by Hon Jorge P Bustos has bolstered the defenses of Police Regional Office 3 against the coronavirus with a donation of boxes of masks and other personal protective equipment.
On Tuesday (January 5), Sec Beda Quiambao Jr represented Hon Bustos and personally handed over to the top cop of Central Luzon, PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON the boxes of face masks and PPEs at the PRO3 Headquarters, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Sec Quiambao Jr said that the donation “is one more demonstration of our commitment to work together with the PNP to overcome the Covid-19 global pandemic and builds on our long tradition of outstanding cooperation with the police."
PBGEN DE LEON thanked Hon Bustos thru Sec Quiambao Jr and added that the 12900 PRO3 personnel are truly grateful for the donations which “constitute an active recognition of the continuing efforts made by our personnel during this difficult time which has been caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.”
A check amounting to Php 111,100.00 was also handed over to PRO3 by the partylist for the construction of "I LOVE PRO3" landmark signage. (PIO-3)

CONDUCT OF SKILLS ENHANCEMENT TRAININGS FOR PERSONNEL BEGINS AT PRO3
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- The simultaneous opening ceremonies of five (5) comprehensive courses for PRO3 personnel was held on Tuesday (December 29) at Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that the comprehensive courses which include Chief of Police Qualification Course; Basic Explosive Ordnance and disposal Course; PNP Special Weapons and Tactics, Focus reformation/ reorientation and Moral Enhancement for Police Officers in line with internal efforts (FORM POLICE) and the Specialized WCPD Course are all geared towards the improvement of the technical and professional competencies of PRO3 personnel in line with the guidelines of PNP Chief PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS to equip all PNP personnel with the necessary trainings to further hone their capabilities to better serve the public.
Relatedly, a ten-day online seminar dubbed as READ program for PRO3 Non-uniformed personnel assigned to perform administrative duties in the Regional Headquarters and other police units in Central Luzon also started.
