Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- A man considered as High Value Target of PDEA and the PNP was arrested earlier this morning, April 15 during the implementation of search warrant by joint operatives of PDEA and Magalang police in Brgy San Vicente, Magalang, Pampanga.
 
About 4 o'clock in the morning, joint operatives of PDEA3 and Magalang police armed with Search Warrant No. 5579(18) issued by Hon. Judge Cecilyn E. Burgos-Villavert of Regional Trial Court Branch 89, Quezon City proceeded at Bliss 1, Brgy. San Vicente, Magalang, Pampanga which resulted to the arrest of Akil IMAM, 29 y/o, married, native of Marawi City, Mindanao and resident of Bliss 1, Brgy San Vicente, Magalang, Pampanga and seizure of the following: thirty one (31) medium size plastic sachets containing suspected shabu; three (3) large size plastic sachets containing suspected shabu; electronic weighing scale; two(2) caliber 45 pistols; two (2) magazines; seven (7) live cal 45 ammos; two(2) pouch bags; one (1) small tool box; one (1) lighter; one (1) pair of scissors; mini money counting machine and bundle of unused plastic sachets.
 
According to the PDEA, seized suspected shabu weighs about 500 grams with street value of two million five hundred thousand pesos (Php.2,500,000.00).
 
The arrested suspect and the seized pieces of evidence are now in the custody PDEA RO3 for proper disposition.
 
"This is another feather in the cap for both the PNP and the PDEA.Our joint efforts to combat drugs and put these absconders behind jail continue to pay off.We will not stop and we will win our waging war uphand," PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR CORPUS said.

PRO3 CELEBRATES ANNUAL FEAST DAY OF OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Catholic members of the Central Luzon police force celebrated the Feast day of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary with a Eucharistic celebration officiated by REV FR (PSSUPT) JASON ORTIZO, Director, PNP Chaplain Service and co-celebrated by REV FR (PSUPT) RONIE ARONG and REV FR (PSUPT) RANDELL CINCHES on June 27, 2018 at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
 
Rev Fr Ortizo said that “the PNP recognizes the role of our Blessed Mother in dispensing the graces of God for the men and women of Central Luzon.”
 
The Eucharistic celebration was also highlighted by the message of PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS wherein he encouraged the men and women of PRO3 to continue seeking the assistance of the Almighty thru the intercession of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in guiding and protecting all PNP personnel in the performance of their duties. 
 
Meanwhile, after the celebration of the mass, the Blessing of the newly constructed Adoration Chapel, Pathway, Office and Storage Room of the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel followed shortly. 
 
The construction of said facilities were completed thru the initiatives of PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS.
 
 

PRO3, READY FOR EARTHQUAKE

 
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3 joins in the conduct of the 2nd Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill held in the afternoon of June 21, 2018
 
PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS, RD, PRO3 said that the earthquake drill/simulation aims to help prepare PNP personnel and other employees inside the camp for an earthquake. 
 
The important part of the drill is to understand that when there is an earthquake it is safest to drop to the ground, find cover and hold on. The activity started by a one minute blowing of siren, wherein all PNP personnel, teachers, students and other employees inside their respective offices drop on the floor, find cover under their tables and hold on to it. Afterwards, all participants went outside, with both hands covering their heads since they could be battered with falling objects,  walked in a single file and proceeded at the designated evacuation area which is the Parade Ground located infront of the Admin Building solemnly. This must be done so as not to cause panic while an earthquake takes place.
 
The Earthquake drill is an annual exercise designed for the awareness, preparedness and readiness of PRO3 PNP personnel and employees during an actual earthquake. 
 
Meanwhile, in an interview, PSSUPT OSCAR P JACILDO, Chief, Regional Police Community Divisionof PRO3 stated that “We always have to do preparations through protracted drills like this. It is not a matter of lacking, it is keeping in tune, keeping abreast”.
 
More or less one thousand (1,000) PNP personnel including teachers, students and other employees inside the camp participated in the drill. Also participated during said activity were personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection.
