CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police authorities arrested the leader of "Pitong Gatang Basag Kotse Group" and his partner in a buy- bust operation conducted by the City of San Fernando Police - Drug Enforcement Unit at Bgy Lourdes, City of San Fernando, Pampanga yesterday morning (May 15).
City of San Fernando Chief of Police PSUPT ROLAND AGOHOB identified the arrested suspects as Joey PAMINTUAN y David, 26 years old, with live-in partner,resident of 2nd Street, Tiopaco, Brgy Lourdes, City of San Fernando, Pampanga and categorized as a Target-Listed Drug Personality of City of San Fernando, Pampanga and Arlene NIEDO y Soriano, 25 years old, a resident of Highway, Brgy San Vicente, Bacolor, Pampanga and Categorized as Newly Identified Drug Personality of City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
PAMINTUAN previously surrendered to police authorities during the massive implementation of “Oplan Tokhang” in line with Double Barrel.
Seized from their possession were the following: Fifty Three (53) pieces transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and Php 500.00 marked money.
Further investigation revealed that the group of Pamintuan is responsible for the series of "Basag Kotse" incidents in the City of San Fernando targeting cars parked in the different commercial establishments all over the city.
Cases for violation of RA 9165 (Sections 5 and 11 for Pamintuan and Section 11 for Niedo) are being filed against arrested suspects.
“While we are still busy with our election duties, our efforts against criminality and illegal drugs remain relentless,” PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said.
