Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – With the continuous implementation of enhanced focused police operations and the resumption of Project “Double Barrel”, a remarkable decrease of 25% in crime incidents here in Region 3 has been noted.
PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS revealed during the Regional Election Security Forum held on May 9, 2018 at Kingsborough International Convention Center that compared to January 1- April 30, 2017, crimes in the region has been cut down by almost 25% this year especially the eight focused crimes namely: MURDER, HOMICIDE, ROBBERY, THEFT, PHYSICAL INJURY, MC MOTORNAPPING, MV MOTORNAPPING and RAPE.
PCSUPT Corpus also said that recorded incidents of eight focused crimes for Jan.1-Apri l 30, 2017 was three thousand two hundred thirty seven (3, 237) while two thousand two hundred forty two (2,242) crimes are recorded for the same period of this year which is nine hundred ninety five (995) or 69.26% lower.
“This significant decrease in crimes can be attributed to the leveling up of our anti-criminality measures particularly on motorcycle riding suspects and our resumed anti-drug campaign as well as the continuous community support which contributes a lot in addressing lawlessness in the region," PRO3 Regional Director AMADOR V CORPUS said.
CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- A notorious robber allegedly behind the series of robberies of money remittance centers was arrested by police authorities on Saturday morning in Olongapo City.
June Ceasar Lim Sabangan, 27 years old, a native of Pagwadaan, Barangay Madamba, Dingras, Ilocos Norte and currently residing at Apache St. Clark Field, Mabalacat City, Pampanga was arrested by operatives of Police Station 3, Olongapo City after a concerned citizen reported to police about the presence of a suspicious person at Parola Beach, Parola, Lower Barangay Kalaklan, Olongapo City.
It was found out that reported person turned out to be SABANGAN who is a notorious robber and has standing Warrants of Arrest with monetary reward for series of remittance centers robberies in Luzon, particularly in Bulacan, Cavite, Makati, La Union-Pangasinan and Olongapo City.
Sabangan who has been hiding since 2016 is currently at the custodial facility of Police Station 3, Olongapo City Police while coordination is being made to police units where he has standing Warrants of Arrest.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Three (3) suspected drug peddlers were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by police authorities yesterday morning,(May 9).
Joint operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 led by PSUPT ROMMEL BATANGAN and Mexico Municipal Police Station conducted buy-bust operation at about 11:45 AM, yesterday at Brgy. Nueva Victoria, Mexico, Pampanga which resulted in the arrest of three (3) drug personalities namely; Lorna Belmonte y Abalos, female, married, vendor, 58 years old and resident of Area-C Sapang Palay, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, Roland Cirunay y Cabano, male, 49 years, farm care taker and his live-in partner Marilou Abalos y Bautista, female, 42 years, jobless, single, both residents of Nueva Victoria, Mexico, Pampanga.
Confiscated from the possession of the suspects were nine (9) transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, Php 500.00 marked money, illegal drugs paraphernalia and three (3) pcs mobile phones.
Charges for Violation of Sec 5 and 11 of RA 9165 are being filed against the arrested suspects.
Further investigation revealed that Lorna Belmonte y Abalos and Roland Cirunay y Cabano previously surrendered to police authorities during the massive implementation of “Oplan Tokhang” in line with Double Barrel.

Seven(7) wanted persons in Bulacan were arrested by police authorities by virtue of Warrants of Arrest identified as: Janet Gagalac y De Vera and Ma. Leticia Santos y Corpuz a.k.a Leticia Santos, both of Sta. Maria, Bulacan for Viol. of B.P. Police authorities of Nueva Ecija PPO were able to arrest three (3) wanted persons identified as Jaime Dela Cruz Jr. y Valdez for Rape and alias warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted Rape and Lorenzo A. Calma both of Brgy. Rio Chico, Nueva Ecija for Qualified Theft; and, Mar Raniel Niro y Bernardez of Rizal, Nueva Ecija for RIR To Serious Physical Injuries And Damage To Property.
In Tarlac, police authorities arrested Nestor Tiamzon y Pangan for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness and Glen CALPATURA y Alfonso for Other Deceits, both of Tarlac City; Michelle Tangonan y Antonio of Mayantoc, Tarlac for Libel; and Eduard Heronilla y Mariano "AKA" Edgardo of Gerona, Tarlac for Estafa.
Police authorities in Bataan arrested three (3) wanted persons namely Michael Henry Rivera y Hocson, of Hermosa, Bataan for Estafa; Bernie Padilla of Limay, Bataan for Serious Physical Injuries; and Abelardo Diwa y Jorge of Balanga City, Bataan for ESTAFA.
Also arrested were Edwin Santiago y Muñoz of Subic, Zambales for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness in rel to RA 7610; Amil Barrion y Lintag, aka" Amil of Sta Rita, Olongapo City for the crime of Other Light Threats; Fel E. Resurreccion also known as Fel Timbreza and Jun Ressurection for Estafa in rel to PD 1689 and Allan Cajucom y Baribal, Fereras of Baler, Aurora for viol of RA 9165, Sec 26 in rel. Sec 5.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- A high ranking official of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and watch-listed drug personality was arrested during the implementation of Search Warrant in Brgy San Roque, Tarlac City, yesterday morning (May 9).
PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS identified the suspect as ROGEL YAMBAO y GALANG, OIC-LTO Tarlac District Office, male, 59 years old, married, resident of Capitol Garden Subdivision, Brgy. San Roque, Tarlac City and categorized as High Value Target (HVT Level 2).
PCSUPT CORPUS further said that YAMBAO was arrested by joint operatives of Tarlac Police Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) and Tarlac Police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) during the implementation Search Warrant No. 2018-02 issued by Honorable Executive Judge LILY C DE VERA-VALLO of Regional Trial Court, Third Judicial Region, Branch 64, Tarlac City for Violation of Sec. 11, Art. II of RA 9165.
Confiscated from the possession and control of the suspect were: Nine (9) pieces heat sealed small transparent plastic sachets containing suspected “SHABU”; One (1) piece hand grenade; and Seventeen (17) pieces of alleged Caliber 45 cartridges.
Cases for violation of Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, RA 9516 and RA 10591 are already filed against the suspect.
“The arrest of Yambao, who is a high ranking official of LTO only goes to show that more and more unscrupulous government workers are involved in illegal drug and we continue to launch operations against all who are included in our target list and watchlist,” PCSUPT CORPUS added.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- PO3 Artem Balagtas assigned at Gerona Municipal Police Station once again proved that indeed policemen are trustworthy and honest, as he persistently searched for the owner of a wallet he found while on his way home after his duty on Friday.
Mrs Yolanda Oneal, a senior citizen, was elated when PO3 Balagtas knocked at her house and returned her wallet containing Php11,000.00 cash and identification cards in Gerona, Tarlac.

PRO3 DEPLOYS ALMOST 9K PERSONNEL FOR 2018 BARANGAY SK POLLS
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Three (3) days prior to the 2018 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, the entire Central Luzon police force continues to beef up security within the region to ensure the conduct of safe and secure local polls. Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS bared that almost 9,000 PNP personnel coming from the different police units in Central Luzon are to be deployed within the region. “We will also send out police personnel assigned to do desk work and PNP personnel undergoing schooling to the different polling precincts to increase the number of those tasked to ensure peaceful elections this coming May 14.
