Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- A notorious drug suspect was neutralized after he initiated a gunfight with police authorities during a buy-bust operation in Balibago, Angeles City yesterday morning (April 4).

 

Slain suspect was identified as Cris ROSALES y Delpin, 31 y/o, single, resident of Ipil Ipil, Pulong Maragul, Angeles City and ranked no. 4 most wanted person of motorcycle riding suspects  and included in the Drugs Watchlist in Angeles City.

 

            Initial investigation showed that operatives of Angeles City Police Office-Police Station 4 conducted buy bust operation against suspect in Hadrian Ext. 3, Mt. View Subdivision, Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City and upon sensing that he was dealing with lawmen, ROSALES immediately drew his firearm and fired towards the police officers.

 

            Recovered from  scene were the following:  two (2) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, one (1) caliber .38 revolver loaded with five (5) ammunition, one (1) black SYM motorcycle and six (6) caliber .45 spent shells and one (1) fired bullet.

 

            Further investigation revealed that ROSALES has a standing warrant of arrest issued by RTC Branch 62-Angeles City for violation of RA 9165 and he is involved in the series of crimes committed within Angeles City. He was also charged with robbery and carnapping before the Prosecutor’s Office.

 

“This accomplishment only goes to show that we are relentless in our waging war on illegal drugs and we will keep on conducting a wide range pro-active approach/strategy in our fight against all forms of criminality,” PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said.

            Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Fourteen (14) persons were arrested by police authorities in the different provinces of Central Luzon, yesterday (April 3) as the campaign on illegal drugs intensifies.

 

            In Angeles City, police operatives arrested Gerald LICUP y Liwag a.k.a. Jdawg, Juniel SITOY y Griar a.k.a. Naknak and James Rafson MANALO, all Angeles City residents.

 

            A total of eleven (11) pieces small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one (1) caliber .38 handgun with serial no. 812353 loaded with four (4) live ammunition, one (1) Smith and Wesson caliber .38 revolver with serial no. 38SCWSP loaded with four (4) live ammunition and the marked money were confiscated from the suspects.

 

            Police operatives of Tarlac conducted buy-bust operations which resulted to the arrest of the following: Lucia QUIAMBAO a.k.a. Luz, Arlene VILLARICO, Anne Clarence HERRERA, Christopher VITUDAZO, Jon Jon BARIBAL and Dennis AGUSTIN, all residents of Tarlac City.

 

            Seized from their possession were eight (8) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, illegal drugs paraphernalia and the marked money.

 

            In Bulacan, police operatives arrested Saturnina CARDENAS y Mendoza a.k.a. Nena and Marites SADIA y Medina, both residents of City of San Jose Del Monte. Bulacan.

 

            Confiscated from the duo were nine (9) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 2gms with street value of Php.12,000.00 and Php.1,000.00 marked money.

 

            Joseph GOZUN y Navarro a.k.a. Kulot of Sto. Tomas, Pampanga was arrested by Pampanga operatives in possession of three (3) small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu including Php 500.00 marked money.

 

            Also arrested were Richard TORRES y Tormes of General Tinio, Nueva Ecija and Reymark DELGADO y Trajano of Orion, Bataan during anti-illegal drugs operations. Seized from their possession were two (2) plastic sachets of suspected shabu and the marked money.

 

            PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS, Regional Director said that PNP PRO3 is continuously conducting pro-active operations against all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve its quest for a drug free Central Luzon.

CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- Due to the tight security measures carried out by Police Regional Office 3, no single Holy Week related incident was reported particularly from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday within the region. 
 
PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said that the “zero-Holy  Week related incident” can be attributed to the diligent efforts of our PNP personnel to ensure the safety and security of the general public especially among the pilgrim sites and churches.
 
“We have deployed four thousand personnel just for the Holy Week alone and I commend them for their assiduousness in performing their duties, indeed, it paid off with no single incident happened. I would also thank the public for their cooperation and support to us,” PCSUPT CORPUS said.   
 
“Our Police Assistance Desks and Motorists Assistance Centers are still in placed until June 13 in convergence points particularly in bus terminals, airport, seaports and recreational areas including highways, main thoroughfares and crime prone areas to ensure maximum police presence,” he added.
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- The no. 4 most wanted person in Paniqui, Tarlac was arrested by police authorities yesterday (April 2). 
 
Operatives of Paniqui MPS armed with Warrant of Arrest proceeded at Sitio Laoac, Brgy. Aduas, Paniqui, Tarlac and served Warrant of Arrest against Rico TAMAYO Y TABAGO,   ranked No. 4 Most Wanted Person of Bamban, 32years old, Construction worker and resident of said place.
 
Said Warrant of Arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court-Branch 67, Paniqui, Tarlac for the crime of Rape with no bail recommended. 
 
TAMAYO is currently placed at Paniqui MPS Custodial Facility for proper disposition. 
 
“We will have no let up in our campaign against wanted persons and we will keep on conducting manhunt operations to put these absconders in jail," PRO3 Director PCSUPT AMADOR CORPUS said.
 
 
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga-Police Regional Office 3 has issued safety tips to the public as the regular working days will resume on Monday after the observance of Holy week is set to end tomorrow, Sunday (April 1).
 
When hitting the road, PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS urges the public to follow some travel tips.
 
For those bringing their own vehicle:
∙ Keep in mind the “blowbagets” rule: battery, light, oil, water, brakes, air, gas, engine, tire and self. Make sure all of them are in good condition before traveling.
∙ Always bring driving documents, including driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance certificate.
∙ Make sure the safety locks of car doors are working, especially if you are traveling with children.
∙ Avoid one-handed driving and never use a cell phone while on the road.
∙ If you are driving at night, use headlights and signal lights properly.
 
For those taking public transport:
∙ Avoid wearing expensive and flashy jewelry. Avoid bringing large amounts of money.
∙ Don’t bring too many items when commuting.
∙ Report immediately to authorities if you see a suspicious-looking person or package within the immediate vicinity.
∙ Be wary of pickpockets inside vehicles. Report incidents to the nearest Police Assistance Desks.
 
“Our Police Assistance Desks and Motorists Assistance Centers are in placed and are ready to assist you as you travel, do not hesitate to approach them,” PCSUPT CORPUS said.
 
Meanwhile, due to tight security measures, no single untoward incident was reported on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

2 TOYOTA INNOVA FOR ANGELES CITY POLICE

 
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Two (2) brand new Toyota Innova from the PNP Directorate for Logistics were received by Police Regional Office 3 in line with the PNP’s Capability Enhancement.
 
The Blessing and Turn-Over Ceremony of said automobiles was held at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Olivas, City San Fernando, earlier this morning (September 7) wherein Angeles City Police Office headed by its City Director PSSUPT ENRICO VARGAS is the recipient.
 
PRO3 Regional Director PRO3 AMADOR V CORPUS said that the procurement of these vehicles is very timely since several proactive anti- criminality campaigns of PRO3 have been intensified and round the clock conduct of anti-criminality checkpoints and mobile patrolling are sternly carried out.
 
“With this additional mobility, more positive accomplishments will be achieved in the coming days and the public can expect the PNP-PRO3 especially Angeles City Police Office to respond better to incidents,” PCSUPT CORPUS further stated.

921 NEWLY PROMOTED CENTRAL LUZON POLICE TAKE OATH

 
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- -- 921newly-promoted PNP personnel of Police Regional Office 3, 50 of whom are Police Commissioned Officers and 871 are police non-commissioned officers took their oath at the PANA Hall, Camp Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga  earlier this morning (Aug 20). 
 
The oath-taking and mass pinning of the newly promoted Police Commissioned Officers and Police Non-Commissioned Officers was administered by PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR CORPUS and was witnessed and participated in by the families and relatives of the promotees.
 
“Your promotion signifies not only the recognition of your excellent service to the PNP but more importantly, the bigger responsibilities that you have to hold in order to help attain our mission. Huwag kayong makontento sa inyong promotion. I want you to keep going, strive harder, and embrace the challenges at stake ahead of you towards the fulfillment of your dreams. Do not cling to corruption, do not engage in illegal activities. Maglingkod kayo ng tapat at taos-puso sa sambayanang Pilipino,” PCSUPT CORPUS said in his message.
