            CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA --- An operative of Norzagaray Municipal Police Station was shot dead by a notorious drug peddler during an anti-drug operation turned shootout, dawn of March 11, 2018 in Norzagaray, Bulacan.  

            Slain member of the Norzagaray police force was identified as PO3 Ronaldo B Legaspi, operative while suspect who was also killed was identified as Rolando PADURA y Bermejo @ Jay Ar, 32 years old, single, construction worker, a resident of Blk 18 Lot 57 Area H San Rafael San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan and listed in the Priority Targets of Norzagaray police.

            Based on reports that reached this Office, operatives of Norzagaray Municipal Police Station conducted buy bust operation at Brgy. Tigbe, Norzagaray, Bulacan which resulted to a shootout and neutralization of PADURA while PO3 Legaspi sustained four (4) gunshot wounds in his stomach.

            PO3 Legaspi was rushed to Ospital ng Lungsod ng San Jose Del Monte  where he was declared critical and died a few hours later.

            Recovered were the following: one (1) 9mm pistol Armscor, two (2) fired bullets, ten (10) 9mm fired cartridge cases, one (1) magazine assembly loaded with eight (8) 9mm bullets, one (1) copper jacket and six (6) transparent sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Shabu, assorted jewelries, cash money amounting to Php 362.00, one (1) Samsung cellular phone and one (1) Suzuki motorcycle.

            “This is unfortunate news for us as one of our members was killed in line with our diligent efforts to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs. Still, we are committed in our waging war against illegal drugs and we will continue to be relentless in our campaign at all costs,” PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR CORPUS said.   

                Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Four (4) of the five (5) still unidentified  suspected robbers who posed as Securities and Exchange Commission inspectors were killed during a shootout with lawmen shortly after they held up Lucky 55 Lending company before noon yesterday (March 8  ) in Barangay Zone 1, Iba, Zambales.

                Around 11:15 in the morning, a report of said incident was received by Iba police and lawmen immediately responded. The responding team chanced upon the armed suspects who were about to leave onboard a red Ford Everest SUV owned by Nida Pentinio, owner of said lending company.  Suspects ran towards the back portion of the establishment and opened fired against the authorities resulting in a shootout and instantaneous deaths of four (4) of the suspects while another managed to escape .

                Recovered from the slain suspects were: one (1) pietro berretta cal. 9mm pistol with serial number RH18253 with magazine containing ten (10) live ammunition, one (1) colt .45 pistol with serial number 346637 with magazine containing one (1) live ammunition, one (1) para ordinance cal. 45 pistol with serial number RH 18253 with magazine containing ten (10) live ammunition, one (1) llama cal. 45 pistol with serial number 07-04-08567-97 with magazine containing six live ammunition, four (4) mobile phones,  two (2) wallets containing different identification cards (SANNY   MAGALLANES y BANSIG, (dob 08-19-1970) with postal address at  602 T Mapua St.  Santa Cruz, Manila), two (2) wristwatches,     Crucifix keychain, bonnet, one (1) blue lighter, one (1) blue wallet containing Php 5,417.00, assorted jewelries and one (1)  PNP SAF bullring with markings PO1 Ruel Goda.

                ‘This accomplishment only goes to show that we are tripling our efforts in implementing our our anti-criminality campaign and we will keep on tracking and going after all lawless elements,” PRO3 Director PCSUPT AMADOR CORPUS said.

 

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Police authorities arrested Olongapo City’s high value target during implementation of Search Warrant, yesterday morning (March 6).

 

The arrested suspect was identified as Keith OWENS y Bernard, tagged as High Value Target, 49 y/o, divorced, American citizen and presently residing at Valerio's Residence Apartment, Gallagher St., Brgy. East Tapinac, Olongapo City.

 

Joint operatives of Olongapo City Police Drug Enforcement Unit and City Intelligence Brach implemented search warrant no. 2018-03 issued by Hon. Judge Roline M. Ginez-Jabalde of Regional Trial Court Branch 74-Olongapo City which led to the arrest of OWENS.

 

Confiscated from the possession of the suspect were six (6) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 0.190 grams, one (1) opened plastic sachet containing suspected shabu residue, digital weighing scale and illegal drugs paraphernalia.

 

Case for violation of Section 11 (possession) of RA 9165 was already filed against the arrested suspect.

 

PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS, PRO3 Regional Director said that PNP PRO3 is continuously conducting pro-active operations to invigorate its efforts to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve its quest for a drug free Central Luzon.

 

            CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA--- One (1) alleged member of the CPP/NPA was arrested during manhunt operation conducted by police authorities in Abucay, Bataan, yesterday (March 7).

 

            Joint operatives of Bataan Criminal Investigation and Detection Team, Regional Intelligence Unit 3 and Abucay MPS armed with Warrants of Arrest for Frustrated Homicide docketed under CC No. 9101 and Murder docketed under CC No. 12258 proceeded at the house of Danilo CARAGAY y Macalinao a.k.a. Ka Danilo/Joker/Banal, 52 y/o, resident of Buliran St., Brgy. Salian, Abucay, Bataan to serve said warrants against him.

 

            CARAGAY is the “Iskwad Lider” of Teresera and member of CPP/NPA based in Pampanga. He was responsible for the burning of Bataan Transit bus on November 2005 and primary suspect in the killing of late Army Sgt. Marcial Francisco of 24th Infantry Battalion in Balanga City, Bataan.

 

            Arrested person is now under the custody of Abucay MPS.

 

            PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said that “this successful operation is the result of concerted intel- driven operations and diligent efforts of our police units to arrest all lawless elements in the region.”

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Nine hundred eleven (911) new police officers all with the ranks of PO1 completed the six-month Field Training Program following their four (4) month Public Safety Basic Recruit Course.
 
The Closing Ceremony of the PSFTP Class 2017-01 “Lakan Tikas” was held at the PRO3 Post Grandstand here in Camp Julian Olivas, earlier this morning, March 7 with PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.  
 
During this 6-month training the new PO1s immersed in the different police stations to gain first-hand experience in the fields of Investigation, Intelligence, Operation, Traffic and Patrol.

PNP-AVSEGROUP Director PCSUPT DIONARD CARLOS was also present during said activity since two hundred six (206) PO1s will soon to be members of the PNP-AVSEGROUP. 
 
The newly graduates are set to undergo the Police Orientation Course (POC) to further prepare them to function as police officers, particularly in the field of operations.

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Two (2) brand new Toyota Innova from the PNP Directorate for Logistics were received by Police Regional Office 3 in line with the PNP’s Capability Enhancement.
 
The Blessing and Turn-Over Ceremony of said automobiles was held at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Olivas, City San Fernando, earlier this morning (September 7) wherein Angeles City Police Office headed by its City Director PSSUPT ENRICO VARGAS is the recipient.
 
PRO3 Regional Director PRO3 AMADOR V CORPUS said that the procurement of these vehicles is very timely since several proactive anti- criminality campaigns of PRO3 have been intensified and round the clock conduct of anti-criminality checkpoints and mobile patrolling are sternly carried out.
 
“With this additional mobility, more positive accomplishments will be achieved in the coming days and the public can expect the PNP-PRO3 especially Angeles City Police Office to respond better to incidents,” PCSUPT CORPUS further stated.

921 NEWLY PROMOTED CENTRAL LUZON POLICE TAKE OATH

 
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- -- 921newly-promoted PNP personnel of Police Regional Office 3, 50 of whom are Police Commissioned Officers and 871 are police non-commissioned officers took their oath at the PANA Hall, Camp Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga  earlier this morning (Aug 20). 
 
The oath-taking and mass pinning of the newly promoted Police Commissioned Officers and Police Non-Commissioned Officers was administered by PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR CORPUS and was witnessed and participated in by the families and relatives of the promotees.
 
“Your promotion signifies not only the recognition of your excellent service to the PNP but more importantly, the bigger responsibilities that you have to hold in order to help attain our mission. Huwag kayong makontento sa inyong promotion. I want you to keep going, strive harder, and embrace the challenges at stake ahead of you towards the fulfillment of your dreams. Do not cling to corruption, do not engage in illegal activities. Maglingkod kayo ng tapat at taos-puso sa sambayanang Pilipino,” PCSUPT CORPUS said in his message.
