Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- A high ranking official of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and watch-listed drug personality was arrested during the implementation of Search Warrant in Brgy San Roque, Tarlac City, yesterday morning (May 9).
PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS identified the suspect as ROGEL YAMBAO y GALANG, OIC-LTO Tarlac District Office, male, 59 years old, married, resident of Capitol Garden Subdivision, Brgy. San Roque, Tarlac City and categorized as High -Value Target (HVT Level 2).
PCSUPT CORPUS further said that YAMBAO was arrested by joint operatives of Tarlac Police Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) and Tarlac Police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) during the implementation Search Warrant No. 2018-02 issued by Honorable Executive Judge LILY C DE VERA-VALLO of Regional Trial Court, Third Judicial Region, Branch 64, Tarlac City for Violation of Sec. 11, Art. II of RA 9165.
Confiscated from the possession and control of the suspect were: Nine (9) pieces heat sealed small transparent plastic sachets containing suspected “SHABU”; One (1) piece hand grenade; and Seventeen (17) pieces of alleged Caliber 45 cartridges.
Cases for violation of Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, RA 9516 and RA 10591 are already filed against the suspect.
“ The arrest of Yambao, who is a high ranking official of LTO only goes to show that more and more unscrupulous government workers are involved in illegal drug and we continue to launch operations against all who are included in our target list and watchlist,” PCSUPT CORPUS added.
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- With barely five (5) days before the Barangay and SK Elections on May 14, 2018, Police Regional Office 3 under PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS, Regional Director together with the 7TH Infantry Division Commander, Philippine Army MGEN FELIMON SANTOS JR, COMELEC Regional Election Director Atty. Temie Lambino convened the Regional Election Security Forum for the May 14 Barangay and SK Elections 2018, the first in the country on May 9, 2018 at the Kingsborough International Convention Center, JASA, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The meeting was presided by Atty. Lambino and was participated by the Senior Field Commanders from 7th Infantry Division, Police Regional Office 3 Command Group, Provincial/City police directors, all Chiefs of Police and all Provincial Election Supervisors of Central Luzon.
Its aim is to have unified efforts among members of the security forces hand-in-hand with counterparts in other government agencies so that the forthcoming elections will be safe and secure.
Pursuant to COMELEC Resolution No. 9571, the PNP and AFP are deputized to assist COMELEC in its security preparations for the elections.
The event was graced with the presence of PDG OSCAR ALBAYALDE, C, PNP, BGEN ABRAHAM CLARO ASIS, 703RD BDE Commander and NOLCOM Commander LT GEN EMMANUEL SALAMAT.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- The top 8 most wanted person of Orani, Bataan and three (3) other persons with standing Warrants of Arrest were arrested during various manhunt operations conducted by police authorities yesterday (May 6).
Around 1:55 a.m., joint operatives of Orani MPS, Bataan Provincial Intelligence Branch, Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Branch and Bataan 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company proceeded at Brgy. Pag-asa, Orani, Bataan and served two (2) Warrants of Arrest against Jayson ROQUE y Rodriguez, resident of Noraville Subdivision, Brgy. Tugatog, Orani, Bataan and ranked no. 8 in the top 10 most wanted person of Orani MPS.
Said warrants were issued by Hon. Judge Rolando S. Tungol of Municipal Circuit Trial Court Orani-Samal, Bataan for the crime of Attempted Homicide with recommended bail of Php.12,000.00 and Hon. Judge Antonio Ray A. Ortiguera of RTC Branch 2, Balanga City for the crime of Slight Physical Injury in relation to Violation of RA 9262 with recommended bail of Php.2,000.00.
Also arrested were Yolanda ESTABAYA y Lorenzo of City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan for Slight Physical Injuries; Niño ESQUIBEL y Olmo of Brgy. New Asinan, Olongapo City for Violation of RA 7610; and, Sandy MANALILI y Malinao of San Luis, Pampanga for RIR in Damage to Property.

Bataan police operatives were able to arrest Romeo QUICHO y Dela Peña, 59 years old, single, Municipal Marshal, resident of Brgy. Daan Pare, Orion, Bataan and Francisco QUICHO y Quiroz, 24 years old, single, Municipal Utility Worker and resident of Brgy. Wakas, Orion, Bataan during buy-bust operation in Brgy. Daan Pare, Orion, Bataan.
Confiscated from the duo’s possession were one (1) medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu and marked money.
Police operatives in Pampanga arrested three (3) drug suspects identified as Jaycee GAPASIN y Punzalan , listed in the Street Level Target drug personalities of Mexico MPS and Rogelio MALLARI y Balingit, both residents of Mexico, Pampanga; and, Arvin ZAPANTA y Ocampo a.k.a. Bilao of Sta. Rita, Pampanga.
Seized from the suspects were a total of sixteen (16) sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and marked money.
In Angeles City, Melvin CABAGUE of Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City was arrested in the act of selling and possession of one (1) sachet of suspected shabu and marked money while three (3) unidentified male drug suspects who was caught in the act of using shabu managed to escape. Recovered from the drug den were one (1) sachet of suspected shabu, one (1) sachet of suspected marijuana fruiting tops and assorted illegal drugs paraphernalia.
Also, Ferdinand LACSON y Gomez of Capas, Tarlac was arrested by Tarlac police during buy-bust operation in the act of selling and possession of two (2) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and marked money.
Appropriate charges are being filed against the arrested suspects.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Twenty-eight (28) persons were arrested as numerous illegal drugs were confiscated during series of anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by Central Luzon cops, yesterday (May 5).
Sixteen (16) persons were arrested by Bulacan police operatives during buy-bust operation identified as Aris DUQUE y Romen a.k.a. Ogag, Arnold BALBIN y Quebec, Nikko VISPERAS y Gravador, Trina MAHOY y Rasing and Mark Anthony LUIS y Morante, all residents of City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan; Arthur CRUZ y Santos a.k.a. Doro and Jonalyn ITALIA y Vicente, both residents of Sta. Maria, Bulacan; Nikki SANTOS y Manuel of Norzagaray, Bulacan; : Edgar DE JESUS y Bautista a.k.a. Egay and Dina DONZAL y Segubre, both residents of Bocaue, Bulacan; Mark Deve BENEDICTO y Cruz a.k.a. Bebe of Marilao, Bulacan. While, James MENDOZA y Pingol, Edward AXL y Villanueva, Anthony DELOS REYES y Dela Rosa, Roma AMOR y Sioco and Jayson RODRIGUEZ y Dela Cruz, all residents of Bulakan, Bulacan were caught while having pot session.
Seized from the possession of the suspects were a total of thirty-eight (38) sachets of suspect shabu weighing 12.7 grams with estimated street value of Php.57,000.00, eighteen (18) transparent plastics sachet containing suspected marijuana leaves with fruiting tops weighing 29 grams with street value of Php.2,000.00, marked money and illegal drugs paraphernalia.
In Pampanga, police operatives were able to arrest six (6) persons identified as Gemma DAVID y Taruc of Magalang, Pampanga; Jayson PARE y Dayrit of Mabalacat City, Pampanga; Resty SANGUYO y Magat a.k.a.Toto of Sto. Tomas, Pampanga; Rolando LORESCO, Felicita LUNAG and Michael RIVERA, all residents of Sta. Rita, Pampanga.
Confiscated from their possession were a total of twenty (20) sachets containing suspected shabu and marked money.
Also, Angeles City police operatives arrested three (3) drug suspects during buy bust operation identified as Rommel PINEDA y Castillo of Brgy. Trinidad, Angeles City; Al Amin RAHIM y Sarif of Brgy. Pandan Angeles City; and, a 17-year old minor from Brgy. Tabun, Angeles City.
Confiscated from their possession were four (4) sachets containing suspected shabu, five (5) sachets of suspected marijuana leaves and marked money.
Restituto CABILING y Miguel and Arnold DAYAO y Turiaga, both residents of Hermosa, Bataan; and, Gilbert BAUTISTA y Bartolome of Orani, Bataan were arrested by Bataan police during buy-bust operation.
The trio yielded a total of six (6) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and marked money.
Cases for Violation of RA 9165 were filed against the arrested suspects.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- PO3 Artem Balagtas assigned at Gerona Municipal Police Station once again proved that indeed policemen are trustworthy and honest, as he persistently searched for the owner of a wallet he found while on his way home after his duty on Friday.
Mrs Yolanda Oneal, a senior citizen, was elated when PO3 Balagtas knocked at her house and returned her wallet containing Php11,000.00 cash and identification cards in Gerona, Tarlac.
“His example is worth emulating. He was just doing what he has to do, the right way. Indeed, your police are committed to make a difference in our society one day at a time,” PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said.
PRO3 DEPLOYS ALMOST 9K PERSONNEL FOR 2018 BARANGAY SK POLLS
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Three (3) days prior to the 2018 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, the entire Central Luzon police force continues to beef up security within the region to ensure the conduct of safe and secure local polls. Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS bared that almost 9,000 PNP personnel coming from the different police units in Central Luzon are to be deployed within the region. “We will also send out police personnel assigned to do desk work and PNP personnel undergoing schooling to the different polling precincts to increase the number of those tasked to ensure peaceful elections this coming May 14. Out of the almost 9,000 personnel, 280 personnel from the Regional Headquarters will also be deployed in the provinces of Bulacan, Pampanga and Nueva Ecija,” PCSUPT CORPUS said. “We continue to carry out our mandated tasks to ensure the attainment of a safe and secure Barangay and SK elections this Monday, May 14 as we relatively remain steadfast in our anti-criminality efforts,” he added
