Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- COMELEC 3 Regional Election Director Atty Temie P Lambino lauded the entire Central Luzon police force for the success of the recently concluded 2018 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections 2018 in Region 3.

During the press conference held at PANA Hall, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga earlier this morning (May 15), Atty Lambino said that, “among all the 17 regions of the Philippines, we are number in terms of vote canvassing and proclamation of winners. This is because of the combined efforts of the PNP and AFP in providing security to our polling centers which paved way for the smooth conduct of elections and safe and secure delivery of ballot boxes from the polling centers to the COMELEC.

“I would like to congratulate all of us for being number 1, our concerted efforts and all our sacrifices, especially our men and women in uniform here in Central Luzon has paid off,” Atty Lambino added.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3 Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS revealed during the press conference held at PANA Hall, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, earlier this morning, May 15, that the conduct of the 2018 Barangay and SK Elections on Monday (May 14) was generally peaceful with no untoward election related incident happened. 

“The intensified police and military presence as well as the COMELEC and other partner agencies, information dissemination, and the various activities that our commanders on the ground did for community engagements greatly helped us steer a generally peaceful and ordely conduct of the 2018 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections in Region 3.

Even in Nueva Ecija which has the most number of election hotspots, there was no single election related incident reported and I can say that this is the best example that indeed we provided the best security coverage for this electoral process,” PCSUPT CORPUS said. 

Relatedly, with regard to the possession of firearms, explosives, and bladed weapons, from the start of the COMELEC gun ban last April 14, 2018 , PRO3 arrested 137 violators and confiscated a total of 87 assorted firearms, 534 ammunition, 40 bladed weapons, 16 grenades, 2 firearms replica and 1 improvised explosives device.

Meanwhile, on the violation of the 48-hour liquor ban that came into effect Saturday midnight until midnight of Monday, May 14, PRO3 arrested 53 violators wherein, 24 came from Bulacan, 10 in Olongapo City, 9 in Tarlac, 8 in Nueva Ecija and 2 in Pampanga.

PCSUPT CORPUS further stated that with yesterday’s generally orderly election, PRO3 remains vigilant to ensure that the peaceful trend will prevail until the end of the election period on May 21, 2018.

PO1 Kevin Pierre APOSTOL y Dela Cruz @APO, 29 yrs old, single, active member of PNP, presently assigned at Arayat Municipal Police Station and resident of Fatima building, Mac Arthur Highway, brgy., San Francisco, Mabalact City,Pampanga was arrested along with ANGEL PABILONIA y Lacson @BENCH, 39 years old, single, resident of Pineda Subd., Brgy., Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga and DONATO FELIPE y De Guzman @DON-DON, 22 yrs old, single, resident of Pineda Subd., Brgy., dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga during a buy bust operation conducted by operatives of Mabalacat CPS at Pineda Subd., Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga. Seized from the suspects were nine (9) pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with estimated street value of Php 5,000; one (1) piece Five Hundred Peso bill marked money;one (1) GLOCK 17 Generation 4 9mm pistol with serial number PNP39602; two (2) pieces magazine for Glock 17 Generation 4 9mm pistol loaded with eighteen (18) pieces of live ammunition; one (1) piece black face mask;one (1)piece white bull cap; one (1) piece black pouch and one (1) piece steel case, stainless/black in color. Approrpiate charges for violation of Section 5 and 11, Art II of RA 9165 and Omnibus Election code (Gun ban) are being filed against arrested suspects. “This move of filing charges, disciplining and dismissing erring police personnel shows efforts of the PNP in removing bad eggs in the police force, and that the rule of law does not distinguish rank, position or popularity whether victim or respondent in the PNP organization. This is a clear manifestation of our keen determination to remove misfits among the ranks of our organization,"PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR CORPUS said.

CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- A foreigner wanted for issuing bouncing checks was arrested along with another fugitive on Friday in Olongapo City. Nausharwan MALIK y Riaz, native of Islamabad, Pakistan and currently residing in Olongapo City was arrested by operatives of Olongapo City Police Station 3 by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for violation of BP 22 or Bouncing Checks Law (5 counts) with recommended fix bail of Php 144,000.00 for his temporary liberty. Operatives of Olongapo City Police Intelligence Branch also arrested Jeffrey ARARACAP y Manguino aka “Loloy”, resident of New Banicain, Olongapo City by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Statutory Rape, with no bail recommended. “We are relentless in our efforts to put all persons sought by law behind the bars of justice including foreigners who violate our laws as we keep on re-invigorating our manhunt operations, we are committed to achieve our goal of giving the public safer communities to live, work and do business,” PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said.

 

 

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- The provinces of Bulacan and Pampanga now have new acting provincial police directors.

PSSUPT CHITO GALVEZ BERSALUNA, former Chief of Police of City of San Juan is now the Acting Provincial Director of Bulacan Police Provincial Office  after replacing  PSSUPT ROMEO M CARAMAT JR, who is now with the PNP -Intelligence Group.

Meanwhile, PSSUPT NICOLAS SUPAN SALVADOR, former Force Commander of the Regional Mobile Force Commander of the National Capital Regional Police Office assumed his post as the new Acting Provincial Director of Pampanga replacing PSSUPT JOEL CONSULTA who is now with NCRPO.

“I welcome you to Police Regional Office 3 and I am sure that you would steer Bulacan and Pampanga PPOs to greater heights just like your predecessors. You are placed there because the PNP believes that you are the best persons to fill the task,” PCSUPT CORPUS further said.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- PO3 Artem Balagtas assigned at Gerona Municipal Police Station once again proved that indeed policemen are trustworthy and honest, as he persistently searched for the owner of a wallet he found while on his way home after his duty on Friday.
 
Mrs Yolanda Oneal, a senior citizen, was elated when PO3 Balagtas knocked at her house and returned her wallet containing Php11,000.00 cash and identification cards in Gerona, Tarlac.
 
“His example is worth emulating. He was just doing what he has to do, the right way. Indeed, your police are committed to make a difference in our society one day at a time,” PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said.
 

PRO3 DEPLOYS ALMOST 9K PERSONNEL FOR 2018 BARANGAY SK POLLS

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Three (3) days prior to the 2018 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, the entire Central Luzon police force continues to beef up security within the region to ensure the conduct of safe and secure local polls. Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS bared that almost 9,000 PNP personnel coming from the different police units in Central Luzon are to be deployed within the region. “We will also send out police personnel assigned to do desk work and PNP personnel undergoing schooling to the different polling precincts to increase the number of those tasked to ensure peaceful elections this coming May 14. Out of the almost 9,000 personnel, 280 personnel from the Regional Headquarters will also be deployed in the provinces of Bulacan, Pampanga and Nueva Ecija,” PCSUPT CORPUS said. “We continue to carry out our mandated tasks to ensure the attainment of a safe and secure Barangay and SK elections this Monday, May 14 as we relatively remain steadfast in our anti-criminality efforts,” he added
