CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3under the leadership of PCSUPT RAUL D PETRASANTA, RD, PRO3 reported that the traditional observance of All Saints' Day and All Souls’ Day this year was generally "peaceful" after thousands of Filipinos flocked to the different cemeteries all over the region to pay respects to their dearly departed.

            PCSUPT PETRASANTA attributed the generally peaceful and orderly situation to the advance preparations laid-out by all PNP units of PRO3 to ensure safety of motorists, commuters and the public.
He further said that a total of 3,406 PNP personnel were deployed as Road Safety Marshalls and were on duty in the police assistance centers and police hubs which were established along major thoroughfares to help motorists who were travelling and heading towards their different provinces.  
Also, police presence and security were also intensified in places of public convergence such as churches, malls and transport terminals.
The PNP remains in full alert until today and all police unit commanders were instructed to remain in their posts to deter any untoward incidents that might occur while many people are returning to their work after the long weekends.
