Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.--- Fourteen (14) suspects, including three (3) high value targets were arrested, fourty-three (43) sachets of suspected shabu and illegal drugs paraphernalia were confiscated during various police operations conducted in Nueva Ecija, Pampanga and Bulacan.

Yesterday morning (Aug 23), personnel of Pantabangan MPS conducted anti-criminality checkpoint operation in Bermuda Junction, Brgy. East Poblacion, Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija which resulted to the arrest of Ariel ESCUBIO y Pacolor, 49 y/o, married, Assessment Clerk II of Assessor’s Office, Municipality of Pantabangan, resident of said place, categorized as High Value Target and a surrenderer under Oplan Tokhang. During spot inspection, ESCUBIO pull out his wallet when illegal drugs paraphernalia fell on the ground. Seized were one (1) opened transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu residue and two (2) aluminum foil strips.

            Meanwhile, elements of Science City of Muñoz Police Station responded to a commotion in Brgy. Bantug, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija which resulted to the arrest of Don Julius MERCULIO y Gonzales, 34 y/o, married, municipal employee, resident of said place, who was caught in the act of throwing illegal drugs paraphernalia. Seized were two (2) rolled aluminum foil with suspected shabu residue and lighter.

            Also, operatives of Lupao MPS implemented Search Warrant No. 29-2017-39 issued by Hon. Judge Cynthia Martinez Florendo of RTC Branch 39, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija dated August 23, 2017 which resulted to the arrest of Brgy. Kagawad Virgilio ANTALAN y Gallarde a.k.a. Iyong of Brgy. Poblacion West, Lupao, 50 y/o, married and ranked No. 4 High Value Target (HVT). Confiscated from ANTALAN’s possession were two (2) crumpled aluminum foil strips, one (1) improvised tooter, both containing suspected shabu residue and lighter.

Similarly, operatives of City of San Jose Del Monte PS conducted buy-bust operation at Dela Rosa Compound, Purok 7, Brgy Sta Cruz 4, CSJDM, Bulacan which resulted to the arrest of Mark Anthony MARAÑA y Bustillo a.k.a. Macmac, 33 y/o, married, jobless Michael LOZADA y Vargas, 30 y/o, married, jobless, JR ALVARIO y Bartolata, resident of Brgy. San Martin 2, CSJDM, Bulacan, Cristina PALAD y Panganiban, 35 y/o, widow, jobless and Patricia Ann CANDELARIO y Garbansos, 18 y/o, single, jobless. Confiscated from their possession were ten (10) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one (1) open sachet containing suspected shabu residue, assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked money.

Likewise, this midnight (Aug 24) operatives of Bocaue MPS conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. Lolomboy, Bocaue, Bulacan which resulted to the arrest of Jomar DELA CRUZ y David and Crisanto MALLARI y Ocampo. Confiscated from the duo were nineteen (19) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked money.

Relatedly, operatives of Mabalacat CPS conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. Dapdap, Mabalacat City, Pampanga which resulted to the arrest of Cornelio CAYANAN y Samson a.k.a. Boy Kikig, Peter DAVID, Ara CAYONGCAT y Ocampo, Hadja CAYONGCAT y Ocampo and seizure of fourteen (14) medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, illegal drugs paraphernalia and the marked money.

“The entire Central Luzon police force is adamant in launching  police operations to eradicate all forms of illegal drugs in the region as well as ensure the safety and security of the general public,” PRO3 Regional Director, PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO said during an interview.

      Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Two (2) persons wanted for Rape were arrested during manhunt operations by police authorities in Mayantoc, Tarlac, yesterday (July 31).

      Around 9:00 in the morning, joint personnel of Mayantoc MPS, Tarlac Provincial Intelligence Branch and Provincial Public Safety Company conducted manhunt operation in Brgy. Maniniog, Mayantoc, Tarlac which resulted to the arrest of spouses Rodel RAMIREZ y Eugenio, ranked No. 2 most wanted person of Mayantoc, 28 y/o, married and Nathalie RAMIREZ y Mariano, ranked No. 8, 32 y/o, married, both residents of said place by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Judge Jose S. Vallo of RTC-Branch 68, Camiling, Tarlac dated July 10, 2017 with Criminal Case Nos. 17-141, 17-142, 17-143 and 17-144 for the crime of Rape (4 counts).  

Arrested persons were brought to Mayantoc Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

            CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- As the month long celebration of the 22nd Police Community Relations with this year’s theme “ Police and Community: Sharing Responsibility, Taking Action in Unity” culminates, Police Regional Office 3 held a program earlier this morning, (July 31) at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

         The program coincided with the traditional Monday flag raising ceremony with NAPOLCOM 3 Director Rodolfo G Santos Jr as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

            It was highlighted by the presentation of awards and recognition to deserving PCR commissioned and non- commissioned PNP personnel and offices/units that supported and contributed to various PCR activities within Region 3.

Among the awardees were: for Individual Awards: PSUPT BAYANI RAZALAN, Chief, PCRB, Tarlac PPO; PSUPT AVELINA DE GUZMAN, Olongapo CPO; PCINSP JOVY P ARCEO, Chief of Police, Bamban MPS, Tarlac PPO; SPO1Lorilyn Cuarton, Dinalungan MPS, Aurora PPO; PO2 Carol Capinpin, Tarlac CPS, Tarlac PPO; PO1 Juan Carlos C Ventura, Olongapo CPO; Unit Awards: Aurora PPO headed by PSSUPT RANDOLF Y BALONGLONG; Olongapo City Police Office headed by PSSUPT MELCHOR B CABALZA and Tarlac City Police Station.

The month-long celebration includes different activities that highlighted the importance of a solid partnership between the police and the community in the effective maintenance of peace and order and community development.

                        Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga---Eight (8) suspects were arrested and a total of seventy-eight (78) sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated during successive anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by police authorities, here yesterday (July 31). 

Around 5:40 in the afternoon, four (4) persons were arrested by City of San Fernando Police Station and PDEA 3 in Northville 14 Phase 1, Brgy. Calulut, City of San Fernando, Pampanga identified as Nerrieboy SISON y Tayag, 29 y/o, resident of Brgy. Bulaon, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Fidel CASTRO y Mallari, 39 y/o, Angelito CRUZ JR y Viloria, 41 y/o and Bernie MALIG y Espiritu, 40 y/o, all residents of said place.

 

            Confiscated from their possession were thirty-six (36) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the marked money.

 

Continuously, operatives of CSFPS conducted buy-bust operation in Bulaon Resettlement, Brgy. Bulaon, City of San Fernando, Pampanga which resulted to the arrest of Ronnie BONDOC y Aldana a.k.a. RANNIE, 47 years old and Lito SANTIAGO y Navarro a.k.a. SAPUK, 44 years old, both residents of said place.

 

            Confiscated from the possession of the duo were twenty-seven (27) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the marked money.

 

At about 10:45 in the evening, same operatives conducted buy-bust operation in San Fernando Heights, Brgy. Malpitic, City of San Fernando, Pampanga which resulted to the arrest of Analiza BARRERA y Basco a.k.a. Liza, 38 y/o and Ronnie PANGILINAN y Fernando, 43 y/o, both residents of said place.

 

            Confiscated from the possession of the duo were fifteen (15) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the marked money.

 

“As we continue to wage our all-out war against illegal drugs, more operations will be continuously launched and we will not stop until Region 3 is drug-free,” PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO remarked.

       Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- The crime incidents in Central Luzon has significantly decrease following the launching and implementation of Project Double Barrel Reloaded last March 1, 2017.

In March to May 2016, crime incidents were recorded with a total of 13,591 prior to the implementation of Project Double Barrel Reloaded while from March to May of this year there are only 12,946 wherein the number of index crimes decreased with a recorded 2,250 incidents (42 homicides, 203 murders, 546 cases of physical injuries, 416 robberies, 582 thefts and 242 carnapping/motornapping) which is lower.

The decrease in crime incidents can be attributed to the stern implementation of Project Double Barrel Reloaded.

Honest crime reporting of police stations, continuous PCR activities that is situational driven approach and good working relationship of the police in the community also add up to the decrease of crimes.

Relatedly, a total of 1,750 anti- illegal drug operations were conducted with the arrest of 2,757 suspects (1,909 pushers/users and 848 pushers) and confiscation of 14.309 kilos of marijuana and 2.609 kilos of shabu.

Meanwhile, PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO, Regional Director, PRO3 said that “Despite the effectiveness of our Project Double Barrel Reloaded, we should not be complacent and should keep our eyes always open against lawless elements and their activities. Crime prevention is a 24-hour task and is a serious business to be handled by us in the law enforcement.”
