CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3 is all geared up to provide the utmost assistance among students on the opening of classes coming June 5, 2017.

            PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO, RD PRO3 revealed that guidelines were already established in accordance with “IMPLAN Ligtas Balik-Eskwela 2017”, a directive emanated from the National headquarters that is being conducted annually.

           He bared that maximum number of PNP personnel will be deployed in the different provinces to provide public safety and police visibility in schools, colleges, universities and its nearby areas, which are most likely to be the chosen target place of criminal elements.

           Police Assistance Desks, manned by a team from the local police, in coordination with the concerned school authorities and its security force, local government units and barangay force multipliers, will also be established in every school on June 5 to pre-empt and respond for any eventuality.

           He directed all field officers to personally visit the different schools and coordinate with school officials in order to deter lawless elements from doing illegal activities such as hold-up, pick-pocketing, snatching, drug pushing and even kidnapping of hapless students. Also, continuous anti-criminality operations shall be conducted in crime prone areas before, during and after the opening of classes.

           Additionally, police will be working hand in hand with the traffic auxiliaries in traffic control and direction wherein volume of students will travel to and from the various schools in the different cities/provinces seeing that road traffic is expected to elevate

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Seven (7) suspects were arrested, one (1) was neutralized and illegal drugs were confiscated during series of anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by Central Luzon cops, yesterday (May 31).

At around 6:00 in the morning, joint operatives of Sta. Rosa Municipal Police Station and Nueva Ecija Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with PDEA 3, conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. Cojuangco, Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija which resulted to the arrest of four (4) suspects identified as Christoper SANTIAGO y Bautista a.k.a. Toper, Kelvin PERALTA y Magdawen a.k.a. Bo, Neil MANIO y Eliscopidez a.k.a. Gringo and Venson KO JR. y Reyes.

            Confiscated from the possession of the suspects were nine (9) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the marked money.

Meanwhile, operatives of City of San Fernando Police Station, in coordination with PDEA 3, conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. Bulaon, City of San Fernando, Pampanga which resulted to the arrest of two (2) suspects identified as Pablito GAMBOA y Lapira, 66 y/o, resident of said place and listed in the watchlist of suspected drug personalities of CSFPS and Vic DIZON y Manansala, 35 y/o, single, resident of San Antonio, Bacolor, Pampanga.

            Confiscated from the possession of the suspects were twenty-nine (29)) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the marked money.

Similarly, operatives of Iba Municipal Police Station, in coordination with PDEA 3, conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. Dirita, Iba, Zambales which resulted to the arrest of Kareem ECDAO y Reyes, 27 y/o, married and resident of Purok 1, Capitol Park Homes, Brgy. Dirita, Iba, Zambales.

            Confiscated from ECDAO’s possession were four (4)) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one (1) black TOYOTA FORTUNER SUV with plate number UIC-710, cellular phone and the marked money.

Also, joint operatives of Angeles City Police Drug Enforcement Unit, City Intelligence Branch and Police Station 2, in coordination with PDEA 3, conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. Pampang, Angeles City which resulted to a shootout and neutralization of the Randy MACLANG SR. y Balajadia a.k.a. Doy, 34 y/o, single and resident of 3357 Arellano St., Brgy Lourdes Northwest, Angeles City. During the operation, the suspect sensed the police officers which prompted him to throw a grenade towards them which did not explode. The suspect fired a handgun towards the police which forced the latter to retaliate which resulted to the instantaneous death of the suspect.

            Recovered pieces of evidence were one (1) caliber .38 revolver loaded with ammunition, nine (9) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, cash amounting to Php16, 020.00 in different denominations and lever of the grenade.

PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO commended the operating troops and said that PNP PRO3 will continue its unwavering efforts to eradicate illegal drugs within the region as “Double Barrel Reloaded” is being widely implemented in the country.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Police Regional Office 3 will start its electronic (web-based) recruitment process to fill the five hundred seventy (570) available slots for new batch of police recruits in the region.
            PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO, PRO3 Regional Director, said that the available slots for the region is divided into two (2). Regular Quota has three hundred (300) available slots needed by July 1, 2017; while Attrition Quota has two hundred seventy (270) slots needed by November 16, 2017. Also, he said that these quotas should be filled up according to the guidelines issued by the National Police Commission.
            Applicants will undergo the Physical Agility Test, Neuro-Psychological Examination, General Physical and Dental Examination as well as Drug Test to be administered by the PNP for the purpose of determining physical and mental health.
             The following are the general qualification for appointment in the police service:
            •A citizen of the Philippines;
            •A person of good moral character;
            •Must possess a formal baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of      learning;
            •Must be eligible in accordance with the standards set by NAPOLCOM;
            •Must have not been dishonorably discharged from military employment or           dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government;
            •Must have not been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving           moral turpitude;
            •Must be at least one meter and sixty-two centimeters (1.62 m.) in height for male            and one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57 m.) for female;
            •Must not weigh not more or less five kilograms (5 kgs.) than the standard weight             corresponding to his or her height, age, and sex; and
            •Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age        upon take oath.
            Except for the last qualification, the above-enumerated qualifications shall be continuing in character and an absence of any one of them at any given time shall be a ground for separation or retirement from the service: Provided, that PNP members who are already in the service upon the effectively of RA 8551 shall be given at least two (2) years to obtain the minimum education qualification and one (1) year to satisfy the weight requirement.

            •RA 1080 (Board Passer, Med Doctor, Engineering, Teacher etc...); and

            PCSUPT AQUINO gave directives to all City/Provincial Directors from the different Police Provincial/City Police Offices to ensure the safe and secure travel of motorists and commuters this coming Lenten Season and summer vacation.
He further said that police presence will be intensified through increased foot/mobile patrols and established Police Assistance Desks/Centers (PADs/Cs). Also,road safety marshals are being deployed in convergence points particularly in bus/jeep terminals, airport, seaports and recreational areas including highways, main thoroughfares and crime prone areas to ensure maximum police presence.
More so, he instructed all commanders to coordinate with local government units (LGUs), non-government organizations (NGOs), and other government entities and volunteer groups in establishing PADs/Cs and deploying Road Safety Marshalls for a collaborative and unified delivery of public safety services and assistance.
            PCSUPT AQUINO added that criminal elements may take advantage of people converging in places such as beach and other tourist destinations for relaxation and recreation. He is calling for the cooperation of the public to prevent any crime in the community by providing authorities relevant and timely information through the following hotlines of PRO3 and its subordinate units which are active 24/7: "Ligtas SumVac 2017" will remain in effect thru the Holy Week until the third week of June.
       Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3  Regional Director PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO, formed a battalion-strong “all-women police force” to highlight the culmination of Women’s Month celebration.
The battalion strength of an “all-women” police force paraded during the Flag Raising Ceremony at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga earlier this morning (March 27) wherein the guest of honor and speaker was Mrs. Praxedes Y. Tan, a businesswoman and community worker.  Several awards and recognitions were given to deserving female PNP Commissioned Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers.
            PSUPT KAREN G CLARK, Deputy Chief of Regional Comptrollership Division 3, led the battalion formation as the Battalion Commander with PSINSP BEVERLY V ALLAPITAN and PSINSP CHRISTINE A CAMACHO as company commanders.
            Meanwhile, the first ever PRO3 Search for Gwapang Pulis 2017 will be conducted tonight at 6:00 o’clock in the evening at Laus Group Event Center with this year's theme: “We Make Change Work for Women”. Also, a Women’s Night for all police women of Police Regional Office 3 will be held on March 30, 2017 at Angeles City.
