Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Ten (10) suspects were arrested and forty-five (45) sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated during series of anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by police authorities in different provinces of Central Luzon over the weekend.

Around 11:30 in the morning yesterday (September 4), operatives of Guimba MPS conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. Saranay, Guimba, Nueva Ecija which resulted to the arrest of Wilma ANDAYA y Roque, target drug personality of Guimba MPS and Michael CASTILLO. Confiscated from the duo were six (6) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the marked money.

Meanwhile, operatives of City of San Jose Del Monte PS conducted buy-bust operation in Elfa Ville, Brgy. Kaypian, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan which resulted to the arrest of Jaber AMPASO y Sarip, 26 y/o, single and Airene CARREON y Rizabal, 26 y/o, single, both jobless and residents of said place. Seized from their possession were eleven (11) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 10g with street value of Php45,000.00 and the marked money.

Relatedly, operatives of Subic MPS conducted buy-bust operation in Bracero St., Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales last Saturday (September 2) which resulted to the arrest of Eugene SANCHEZ y Manabat, 36 y/o, single resident of Upper Pacheco, Brgy. Gordon Heights, Olongapo City and Lorna VASQUEZ y Persia, 36 y/o, resident of Balik-Balik, Brgy. Sta. Rita, Olongapo City. Confiscated from the possession of the duo were eight (8) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the marked money.

Likewise, operatives of Bacolor MPS conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. Macabacle, Bacolor, Pampanga which resulted to the arrest of Kennex MUSNGI y Legazpi, 23 y/o, single and Cris LUGTU y Amoroso, 21 y/o, single, both residents of Sitio Troso, Brgy. Lagundi, Mexico, Pampanga. Confiscated from the duo were ten (10) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, cash amounting to Php27,190.00 in different denominations, one (1) orange  HONDA CIVIC sedan with plate no. CRE-803, one (1) SUZUKI RAIDER motorcycle with plate no. 9545-UW and the marked money.

Also, operatives of Olongapo City Police Station 6 conducted buy-bust operation along Dagupan St., Brgy. Barretto, Olongapo City which resulted to the arrest of Arnold PINEDA y Roxas, 36 y/o, single, jobless, resident of Balic-Balic, Brgy. Sta. Rita, Olongapo City and Cindy BOGNOT y Luna, 38 yo, married, jobless, resident of Brgy. La paz, San Marcelino, Zambales and seizure of ten (10) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 1g with street value of Php4,500.00 and the marked money.

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Less than a week before his retirement and before assuming his post as the new Director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO relinquished his post to PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS, earlier this morning, September 1.

            The Assumption of Office Ceremony was held at the PRO3 Parade Ground, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga with PDDG ARCHIE GAMBOA, The Chief Directorial Staff as the presiding officer.    

            The new Regional Director who was previously assigned at PRO3 as the Chief, Regional Operations and Plans Division and served as Tarlac Police Provincial Director was welcomed at the Police Regional Office 3 with an Arrival Honors rendered by PRO3 PNP personnel.  

            PCSUPT CORPUS, a member of PMA Class ’86 SINAG-TALA is the Director of the Logistics Support Service before replacing PCSUPT AQUINO.

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- -- PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO on Friday (August 18) graces the induction ceremony of the new sets of officers of the PRO3 Press Club held at the Century Hotel, Balibago, Angeles City.

 PCSUPT AQUINO said that he did not hesitate to the invitation of the PRO3 Press Club Incoming President Ric Sapnu to grace the occasion as keynote speaker because the media is close to his heart.

“Over the years, PRO3 has recognized the significant role of community partnership, especially our partnership with the media, as an integral factor to our success in promoting peace and order in the region. We have been working together for many years already for the betterment of not just the PRO3 but the entire PNP organization and Region 3 as well.  I am hopeful that we will continue to work hand in hand in the years to come and foster among us all a healthy working relations to help enlighten the public about police work,” PCSUPT AQUINO told the newly inducted officers and members of the PRO3 Press Club.

            PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO received the Special Unit Award on the Accounting of Illegal Drug Personalities while PO1 Juan Carlos Ventura of Olongapo City Police Office received the Best Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Administration.     

            Anchored on the theme: “Buhay ng Pulis Handang Ibuwis para sa Katahimikan at Kaayusan”, the celebration and awarding ceremony was highlighted by the presence of President Rodrigo Duterte who was also the guest of honor and speaker.

            “This recognition will surely lift the spirits of our PRO3 personnel as we work tirelessly to fulfill our commitment of fighting criminality and wiping out illegal drugs in the region,” PCSUPT AQUINO also stated.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- PRO3 Regional Director, PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO said that the entire Central Luzon police force has been keeping on its toes in its all -out war against illegal drugs as police authorities continue to launch anti-drug operations in Nueva Ecija, Angeles City and Olongapo City, yesterday (August 21).

Operatives of Gapan CPS conducted buy-bust operation in Brgy. Mangino, Gapan City, Nueva Ecija  which resulted to the arrest of Emmanuel MALLARE y Domingo  a.k.a. Meme, 41 y/o, married, helper and Mary Ann ELIZAGA y Lamar, 29 y/o, single both residents of said place and seizure of four (4) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the marked money.

Meanwhile, operatives of Angeles City Police Station 2 conducted buy-bust operation in Purok 5, Brgy. Pampang, Angeles City yesterday evening (Aug 21) which resulted in a shootout and neutralization of Martin LAXAMANA JR y Montoya a.k.a. Junix. Recovered from the scene were one (1) caliber .45 COLT pistol with serial no. 916432 loaded with ammunition, four (4) deformed slug, four (4) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, two (2) gun holsters, two (2) empty shells, three (3) shotgun live ammunition, one (1) roll aluminum foil, one (1) bundle transparent plastic sachets, digital weighing scale, one (1) aluminum foil strip with suspected shabu residue, one (1) caliber .45 magazine loaded with two (2) live ammunition and the marked money.

Similarly, operatives of Olongapo City Police Station 3 conducted buy-bust operation along Rodriguez St., Brgy. New Kalalake, Olongapo City which resulted to the arrest of Ibrahim PACSA y Mawalil a.k.a. Biting, 20 y/o, single, jobless, resident of Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales. During the operation, the police poseur buyer swapped a tablet in exchange for shabu. Confiscated from PACSA’s possession were four (4) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 4.758g with street value of Php21,411.00 and one (1) marked KTC android tablet.
