            PSSUPT RITCHIEMEDARDO A POSADAS, a member of PMA Class ‘90 BIGKIS-LAHI is the Chief of Aviation Security Unit 7, Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Lapu-Lapi City, Cebu before replacing the outgoing Provincial Director, PSSUPT WESTRIMUNDO D OBINQUE.
 
            The simple Turn-over Ceremony was officiated by PRO3 Deputy Regional Director for Administration PSSUPT GRACIANO J MIJARES with the presence of other PRO3 officers. 
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- In its quest to curb criminality in Region 3, two (2) town officials were arrested, one was neutralized and illegal drugs, including illegal firearms and ammunitions, were confiscated during implementation of search warrants and checkpoint operation by police authorities in Bataan and Nueva Ecija, yesterday (Jan 26).
 
Joint operatives of CIDG-Bataan, Provincial Intelligence Branch, Provincial Public Safety Company and Morong MPS simultaneously implemented two (2) search warrants (Nos. 2017-04 and 2017-03) issued by Hon. Judge Roline M. Ginez-Jabalde of RTC-Olongapo City which resulted in the arrest of Bataan’s Top 1 and 2 High Value Target in the campaign against illegal drugs, identified as follows:
 
1.    (Rank 1) Municipal Councilor Bienvenido VICEDO JRof Brgy. Poblacion, Morong, Bataan, 45 y/o, married. Confiscated inside his residence were one (1) unit 12-gauge shotgun with serial number A365828, three (3) pcs ammunitions for 12-gauge shotgun, one (1) unit improvised caliber .22 rifle and four (4) pcs ammunitions for caliber .22.
 
2.    (Rank 2) Jose DIWA y Angeles, General Services Office Chief of Morong Municipal Government, 45 y/o, married, resident of same place. Confiscated inside his residence were two (2) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu, ten (10) aluminum foil strips and one (1) magazine assembly for caliber 9mm.
 
Meanwhile, joint personnel of Aliaga MPS and Bucot Patrol Base, 1st MP, PPSC conducted police checkpoint in Bucot Junction, Aliaga, Nueva Ecija. During the checkpoint, one (1) black KAWASAKI BAJAJ CT100 motorcycle with plate no. WK-5490 driven by unidentified suspect ignored said checkpoint and fled. Immediately, the police chased the suspect until he was cornered in Brgy. Bibiclat. Suspect fired towards the police which prompted the latter to retaliate which resulting in the suspect’s instantaneous death.
 
Recovered pieces of evidence were fourteen (14) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu and one caliber .38 revolver loaded with ammunitions.
 

With this accomplishments, PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO, RD PRO3, remarked that Police Regional Office 3 will carry on its mandated tasks to enforce the law, to place lawless elements behind bars and to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve its quest for a drug free Central Luzon.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Five (5) were arrested, including three (3) barangay officials, one was neutralized and illegal drugs and paraphernalia, including illegal firearms and ammunitions, were confiscated during series of buy-bust operations and implementation of search warrants by police authorities in Nueva Ecija, Angeles City and Tarlac, over the weekend.

          Joint operatives of Lupao MPS, NEPPO Provincial Intelligence Branch and Provincial Public Safety Company simultaneously implemented search warrants with Nos. 29-17, 30-17 and 31-17 issued by Hon. Judge Celso O. Baguio of RTC-Gapan City last Saturday morning (Jan 21) which resulted in the arrest of Nueva Ecija’s Top 1, 2 and 3 High Value Target in the Campaign against Illegal Drugs, identified as follows:
 
a. (Rank No. 1) Barangay Councilor Joven DADAG y Soriano of Brgy. Mapangpang, Lupao, N.E., 50 y/o, married. Confiscated inside his residence was two (2) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu.

b. (Rank No. 2) Barangay Councilor Jonathan SINAGOSE y Gonzales of Brgy. Poblacion West, Lupao, N.E., 45 y/o, married. Confiscated inside his residence were two (2) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu and twenty-seven (27) caliber .22 ammunitions.

c. (Rank No. 3) Barangay Chairman Lou SALVADOR y Guerrero of Brgy. Poblacion West, Lupao, N.E., 50 y/o, married. Confiscated inside his residence was one (1) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu.

           Meanwhile, joint operatives of Angeles CPO’s Police Station 1, Police Station 2 and City Anti-Illegal Drugs Operations Task Group (CAIDSOTG) conducted buy-bust operation at Sunshine Inn, Manzen Bldg, Brgy Sto. Rosario, Angeles City last Saturday afternoon (Jan 21) which resulted in a shootout and neutralization of suspect Michael FLORES a.k.a. MIKE, 41 y/o, single, jobless and resident of P5 Brgy. Amsic, Angeles City. During the operation, the suspect sensed that he was transacting with police authorities which prompted him to run inside his rented room and fired towards the latter. The operatives fired back that resulted to suspect’s death.

          Recovered from FLORES’ possession were one (1) caliber .38 revolver without serial number loaded with ammunitions, five (5) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu, assorted illegal drugs paraphernalia and the marked money.

          Relatedly, joint operatives of Victoria MPS, Tarlac Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Office of the Internal Security and PDEA3 implemented search warrant no. 07-2016 in Brgy. Bantog, Victoria, Tarlac last Friday afternoon (Jan 20) which resulted in the arrest of Arnel TACASA y Bagsic, 42 y/o, married.

          Confiscated from TACASA’s possession were two (2) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu, one (1) transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu residue and two (2) aluminum foil strips.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- An NBI security officer was killed after a shooting incident happened at a cockpit arena in Capas, Tarlac around 6:20 in the evening, yesterday (Jan 25).
 
            Slain victim was identified as Lavernie VITUG y Espinosa, 53 years old, married, Security Officer of NBI Tarlac and resident of #4312 Don Gregorio Avenue, San Sebastian, Tarlac City while the suspect was later identified as Boy DE CASTRO of legal age, Intelligence Officer of NBI-Manila, with last known address at Green Village, Concepcion, Tarlac.
 
            Investigation disclosed that an eyewitness saw DE CASTRO and VITUG had a heated argument inside Triple 888 Cockpit Coliseum. Said argument sprung when the former confronted VITUG for betting while wearing NBI uniform. Their confrontation continued outside and the victim demanded for the suspect’s NBI Badge. Afterwhich, the victim went to his parked vehicle, took a revolver and approached the suspect, who was already inside his vehicle. VITUG pointed his revolver to DE CASTRO and threatened him. DE CASTRO alighted from his vehicle, hurled his badge towards the victim and fired his pistol which resulted in the instantaneous death of VITUG. Suspect fled the place on board his vehicle, taking along the victim’s revolver.
 
Recovered were three (3) empty shells of still undetermined caliber.
 
 
Tarlac police is now conducting pursuit operations for the arrest of the suspect.
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.--- A notorious drug pusher was killed in a shootout with police authorities during a buy bust operation at City of San Fernando, Pampanga, yesterday, January 20, 2017.
 
Slain suspect who was identified as only alias Renan engaged in a firefight with the operatives of City of San Fernando Police Station during the anti-drug operation at Brgy San Agustin, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
           
Recovered from the suspect were the following: one (1) black sling bag with Twelve (12) pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, Three (3) pieces Five Hundred Peso bill marked money, cash money amounting to Five Hundred Ten Pesos (Php 510.00) in different denominations, one (1) caliber 38 revolver without serial number  loaded with five (4) live ammunition and one (1) fired cartridge case,  three (3) fired cartridge cases from caliber 9mm pistol and one (1) deformed bullet.
 
            PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AARON N AQUINO said that the entire Central Luzon police force is continuously keeping on its toes to eradicate all forms of illegal drugs in the region as well as ensure the safety and security of the public.
