Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON and his team accompanied Senator Lawrence “Bong” Go during the distribution of relief goods to typhoon victims in some of the hardest-hit towns wherein he first visited the town of Calumpit and then proceeded at Marilao, Bulacan on Tuesday.
Senator Go was briefed on the extent of damage the typhoon has brought to the province particularly in the municipalities of Calumpit and Marilao.
Before leaving Calumpit, PRO3 Deputy Regional Director for Administration PBGEN LEO M FRANCISCO rendered Departure Honors for Senator Go while PBGEN DE LEON accorded him with the Arrival Honors in Marilao.
More than 2000 relief packs including shoes and tablets for students were distributed to the families affected who in turn expressed their gratitude to the senator.
Also present during the activity were Governor Daniel Fernando, PCGG Director Paul Cabrera,Vice Gov Wilhelmino M Sy-Alvarado, Marilao Mayor Ricardo M. Silvestre, Marilao Vice Mayor Henry R. Lutao, PACC Commisioner Greco Belgica, Mayor Jessie P. de Jesus, Alexis Castro Board Member 4th Congressional District and other local chief heads of Calumpit and Marilao.
