CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- Amidst the pandemic, with the Yuletide Season just around the corner, Police Regional Office 3 Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON, led the Ceremonial Lighting of “PRO3’s Christmas Tree, the police’s simple idea in the spirit of Christmas in the evening of December 7, 2020 with City of San Fernando Mayor Edwin Santiago as the Guest of Honor.
Decorated with colorful Christmas lights made of Capiz, the thirty-seven (37) foot PRO3 Christmas tree is the PRO3 leadership’s gesture of gratitude to the Almighty that the entire region is spared from the series of natural disasters that hit the country as well as being grateful that the men and women of PRO3 for having hurdled the obstacles that came their way, both in the workplace and personal lives.
“As we light our tree, we, at the same time reflect on the real meaning of Christmas which is to follow the examples of Christ who was born in a stable and grew up to become a leader with a servant’s heart who taught us a message as simple as it is powerful: that we should love God, and love our neighbour as ourselves," PBGEN DE LEON said in his message.
The activity was also highlighted by the demonstration of Silent drill skills of the Regional Mobile Force personnel and fireworks display. (PIO-3)
