Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- In its continued commitment to support the uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of Police Regional Office 3 by ensuring their health and physical well-being, the PNP Regional Health Service 3 under PCOL JANET HOMO, Chief, RHS3 is currently implementing the EMPOW – OK (Enhanced Monitoring Police Overall Wellness – Oplan Kalusugan).
Dubbed as EMPOW – OK, the program is a Regional Health Service 3 medical disposition emanated from the Annual Physical Examination of the PNPHS for proper assessment and long term management of PRO3 PNP Personnel with medical condition in partnership with Jose B Lingad Memorial General Hospital, our DOH Retained Hospital.
The program aims to give adequate knowledge to PNP personnel on their health for a healthier lifestyle; collect accurate and solid data on the health status of every PNP personnel through Annual Physical Examination of those 40 years and above; provide timely and efficient treatment/diagnosis to any illness that a PNP personnel may suffer from and monitor the health progress of PNP personnel until full recovery.
Relatedly, RHS3 launched their "ONE TIME, BIG TIME ACTIVITIES UNDER NEW NORMAL" which include 100% Risk based testing/RT PCR swab test to all PRO3 personnel; EMPOW - OK face to face medical consultation and evaluation of APE laboratory results, BP taking, random blood sugar screening, and provision of 3 months supply of maintenance medicines; Station Health Units cascading with trainings on Tactical Casualty Care and Basic Life Support ; RHE- Reimbursement of Hospital Expenses info campaign; lecture on COVID 19 vaccination plan & requently asked questions and answers about COVID 19 vaccines; and Station Health Units visitation.
