Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- A 56-year old construction worker turned-in a vintage bomb in San Jose City, Nueva Ecija on Thursday, April 1.
According to PLTCOL CRISELDA DE GUZMAN, COP, San Jose CPS, the man personally appeared at San Jose CPS and turned-in the vintage bomb he discovered in a house being constructed.
EOD assistance was immediately requested for proper disposition.
"Time and again, I am calling on all owners of firearms and explosives that are either unlicensed or whose licenses have yet to be renewed and even those who have accidentally discovered any explosives such as bombs to voluntarily surrender their firearms and explosives to authorities or coordinate with the nearest police station. We will not charge or arrest them,” PRO3 Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said.( PIO-3)###
