Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- As part of the annual security preparations of Police Regional Office 3 in line with "IMPLAN LIGTAS SUMVAC," and implementation of IATF guidelines, PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON made the rounds this Good Friday in Bataan and Olongapo area to ensure that the directives of the IATF are enforced properly and to check the conditions of personnel manning control points.
PBGEN DE LEON personally inspected the CPs along the stretch of SCTEX Dinalupihan Exit located at Brgy Palihan, Hermosa, Bataan, CP located at Brgy Balsic, Hermosa, Bataan (Bataan-Pampanga Boundary) and control point Brgy. Baretto, Olongapo City, Zambales wherein he saw to it that all personnel adhere to the Tamang bihis and reminded them on the use of meter stick such as yantok and baton while inspecting motorists and travelers.
PBGEN DE LEON also gave financial support to the personnel manning the control points and at the same time were reminded to also take care of themselves by continuously wearing protective gears and observe physical distancing during patrolling.
Meanwhile, the Central Luzon police director also inspected Baloy Beach area and talked with some personnel and force multipliers manning Police Assistance Desks established along the National Hi-way going towards Baloy Beach.
He expressed his gratitude to the force multipliers present and emphasized the importance of proper coordination between the police and members of the community for harmonious and smooth flow of implementation of IATF guidelines.
PRO3 has 179 control points carpeted regionwide being manned by more than 1000 PNP personnel. (PIO-3)
