Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Joint personnel of PNP Women and Children Protection Center, Capas Municipal Police Station, International Justice Mission, Dutch Police, Australian Federal Police, Nordic Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Capas MSWD conducted entrapment and rescue operation in Brgy. Cristorey, Capas, Tarlac which resulted in the arrest of one (1) suspect and rescue of five (5) minors, yesterday afternoon (June 7).
 
The arrested suspect was identified as Marlyn BAPTISTA y Turqueza, 35 years old, and resident of Blk 106, Blk 5, Brgy. Cristorey, Capas, Tarlac. Recovered pieces of evidence inside her house were one (1) tablet, one (1) internet modem (Globe Broadband) and one (1) cellphone.
 
Charges for Violation of RA 9208 as amended by RA 10364 (Trafficking in Person) RA 7610 (Child Abuse) and RA 10175 (Anti-Cybercrime Law) were being filed against the suspect.
 
Rescued minor victims were brought to DSWD Heaven’s Shelter in Quezon City.
 
PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS commended the operating troops for a job well done. He also assured the public that the police together with other partner agencies will continue its campaign to eradicate all forms of criminality including human trafficking within the region.

 

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- A notorious drug pusher was arrested by anti-illegal drugs operatives of Police Regional Office 3 and more than Php 4 Million worth of suspected Shabu were confiscated during a buy bust operation at Bagong Silang, Phase lll, Brgy. Cutud, Angeles City, around 4:20 PM yesterday (June 7).
 
Regional Drug Enforcement Unit Chief PSUPT ROMMEL BATANGAN identified the suspect as Jay-Ann SALONGA y Dungca, 27 years old, single, jobless and resident of 1638 Garcia St., Mt. View, Balibago, Angeles City.
 
Confiscated from SALONGA’s possession were  the following:  one (1) brick aluminum plastic containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with chinese letter markings weighing more or less one (1) kilogram, five (5) medium size heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one Taurus PT 24/7 PRO caliber .40 pistol with serial number SEP94268, two (2) magazine assembly loaded with ammunition, three (3) cellphones, weighing scale, scissor, one (1) black Ford Ranger pick-up truck with plate no. AAJ 5127 and Php.1,500.00 marked money.
 
Charges for violation of Sec. 5 (selling of illegal drugs), 11 (possession of illegal drugs) and 12 (drug use) of Art. II RA 9165 and Violation of RA 10591 (illegal possession of firearms and ammunition) are already being filed against SALONGA.
 
 “We will not stop until every single sachet of shabu and illegal drugs is wiped out, every drug pusher is arrested and every drug user is reformed as we vow to achieve our quest for a drug free Central Luzon," PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR CORPUS said.
 

 

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- The top 3 and 10 target drug personalities of Sasmuan, Pampanga and another person  were arrested during separate anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by police authorities in Pampanga yesterday (June 5).
 
Around 8:45 p.m., operatives of Sasmuan Municipal Police Station conducted buy-bust operation in Dalan Baba, Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Sasmuan, Pampanga which resulted in the arrest of three (3) suspects identified as Kenneth DALAY y Tamayo, 25 years old, single, construction worker, ranked no. 3 on the top 10 drug personalities of Sasmuan MPS, Billy LIMPIN y Torrea, 26 years old, single, tricycle driver, ranked no. 10 drug personality and Archie LIMPIN y Umlas a.k.a. Bang, 38 years old, single, tricycle driver, all residents of Brgy. San Nicolas 1st, Sasmuan, Pampanga.
 
Confiscated from the trio’s possession were seven (7) medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and marked money.
 
Cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 were being filed against the arrested suspects.
 
PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said that more accomplishments on illegal drugs are guaranteed to be achieved as the campaign on illegal drugs is relentlessly being carried out.
 
CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- Police Regional Office 3 is now starting its recruitment process to fill the 200 available slots for new batch of police recruits in the region.
 
PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS, RD, PRO3 said that the available slots for the region should be filled up tentatively by September this year, according to the guidelines issued by the National Police Commission.
 
Applicants will undergo the Physical Agility Test, Neuro-Psychological Examination, General Physical and Dental Examination as well as Drug Test to be administered by the PNP for the purpose of determining physical and mental health.
 
The following are the general qualification for appointment in the police service:
 
•      A citizen of the Philippines;
•      A person of good moral character;
•      Must possess a formal baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
•      Must be eligible in accordance with the standards set by NAPOLCOM;
•      Must have not been dishonorably discharged from military employment or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government;
•      Must have not been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
•     Must be at least one meter and sixty-two centimeters (1.62 m.) in height for male and one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57 m.) for female;
•      Must not weigh not more or less five kilograms (5 kgs.) than the standard weight corresponding to his or her height, age, and sex; and
•      Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age upon take oath.
 
Except for the last qualification, the above-enumerated qualifications shall be continuing in character and an absence of any one of them at any given time shall be a ground for separation or retirement from the service: Provided, that PNP members who are already in the service upon the effectively of RA 8551 shall be given at least two (2) years to obtain the minimum education qualification and one (1) year to satisfy the weight requirement.

•      PO1 Entrance Exam (NAPOLCOM & CSC)
•      RA 1080 (Board Passer, Med Doctor, Engineering, Teacher etc...)
•      RA 6506 (Criminologist)

CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- Due to the tight implementation of “Ligtas Balik -Eskwela 2018” carried out by Police Regional Office 3, no single crime incident was reported victimizing students as the first day of classes opened, yesterday June 4 within the region.
 
PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said that the “zero- crime incident” can be attributed to the diligent efforts of our PNP personnel to ensure the safety and security of the students especially among the school vicinities.
 
“We have deployed almost two thousand personnel for the opening of classes and I commend them for their assiduousness in performing their duties, indeed, it paid off with no single incident happened. I would also thank the public for their cooperation and support to us,” PCSUPT CORPUS said.  
 
“Relatedly, our Police Assistance Desks and Motorists Assistance Centers are still in place until June 13 in convergence points particularly in bus terminals, airport, seaports and recreational areas including highways, main thoroughfares and crime prone areas to ensure maximum police presence,” he added.
