CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- A foreigner wanted for issuing bouncing checks was arrested along with another fugitive on Friday in Olongapo City. Nausharwan MALIK y Riaz, native of Islamabad, Pakistan and currently residing in Olongapo City was arrested by operatives of Olongapo City Police Station 3 by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for violation of BP 22 or Bouncing Checks Law (5 counts) with recommended fix bail of Php 144,000.00 for his temporary liberty. Operatives of Olongapo City Police Intelligence Branch also arrested Jeffrey ARARACAP y Manguino aka “Loloy”, resident of New Banicain, Olongapo City by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Statutory Rape, with no bail recommended. “We are relentless in our efforts to put all persons sought by law behind the bars of justice including foreigners who violate our laws as we keep on re-invigorating our manhunt operations, we are committed to achieve our goal of giving the public safer communities to live, work and do business,” PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS said.

 

CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- A local cop together with two (2) others was arrested by police authorities during an anti-drug operation, yesterday afternoon (May 11) in Mabalacat City. PO1 Kevin Pierre APOSTOL y Dela Cruz @APO, 29 yrs old, single, active member of PNP, presently assigned at Arayat Municipal Police Station and resident of Fatima building, Mac Arthur Highway, brgy., San Francisco, Mabalact City,Pampanga was arrested along with ANGEL PABILONIA y Lacson @BENCH, 39 years old, single, resident of Pineda Subd., Brgy., Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga and DONATO FELIPE y De Guzman @DON-DON, 22 yrs old, single, resident of Pineda Subd., Brgy., dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga during a buy bust operation conducted by operatives of Mabalacat CPS at Pineda Subd., Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga. Seized from the suspects were nine (9) pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with estimated street value of Php 5,000; one (1) piece Five Hundred Peso bill marked money;one (1) GLOCK 17 Generation 4 9mm pistol with serial number PNP39602; two (2) pieces magazine for Glock 17 Generation 4 9mm pistol loaded with eighteen (18) pieces of live ammunition; one (1) piece black face mask;one (1)piece white bull cap; one (1) piece black pouch and one (1) piece steel case, stainless/black in color. Approrpiate charges for violation of Section 5 and 11, Art II of RA 9165 and Omnibus Election code (Gun ban) are being filed against arrested suspects. “This move of filing charges, disciplining and dismissing erring police personnel shows efforts of the PNP in removing bad eggs in the police force, and that the rule of law does not distinguish rank, position or popularity whether victim or respondent in the PNP organization. This is a clear manifestation of our keen determination to remove misfits among the ranks of our organization,"PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR CORPUS said.

 

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – With the continuous implementation of enhanced focused police operations and the resumption of Project “Double Barrel”, a remarkable decrease of 25% in crime incidents here in Region 3 has been noted.

PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS revealed during the Regional Election Security Forum held on May 9, 2018 at Kingsborough International Convention Center that compared to January 1- April 30, 2017, crimes in the region has been cut down by almost 25% this year especially the eight focused crimes namely: MURDER, HOMICIDE, ROBBERY, THEFT, PHYSICAL INJURY, MC MOTORNAPPING, MV MOTORNAPPING and RAPE.

PCSUPT Corpus also said that recorded incidents of eight focused crimes for Jan.1-Apri l 30, 2017 was three thousand two hundred thirty seven (3, 237) while two thousand two hundred forty two (2,242) crimes are recorded  for the same period of this year which is nine hundred ninety five (995) or 69.26% lower.

“This significant decrease in crimes can be attributed to the leveling up of our anti-criminality measures particularly on motorcycle riding suspects and our resumed anti-drug campaign as well as the continuous community support which contributes a lot in addressing lawlessness in the region," PRO3 Regional Director AMADOR V CORPUS said.

 

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- The provinces of Bulacan and Pampanga now have new acting provincial police directors.

PSSUPT CHITO GALVEZ BERSALUNA, former Chief of Police of City of San Juan is now the Acting Provincial Director of Bulacan Police Provincial Office  after replacing  PSSUPT ROMEO M CARAMAT JR, who is now with the PNP -Intelligence Group.

Meanwhile, PSSUPT NICOLAS SUPAN SALVADOR, former Force Commander of the Regional Mobile Force Commander of the National Capital Regional Police Office assumed his post as the new Acting Provincial Director of Pampanga replacing PSSUPT JOEL CONSULTA who is now with NCRPO.

“I welcome you to Police Regional Office 3 and I am sure that you would steer Bulacan and Pampanga PPOs to greater heights just like your predecessors. You are placed there because the PNP believes that you are the best persons to fill the task,” PCSUPT CORPUS further said.

 

CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- A notorious robber allegedly behind the series of robberies of money remittance centers was arrested by police authorities on Saturday morning in Olongapo City.

June Ceasar Lim Sabangan, 27 years old, a native of Pagwadaan, Barangay Madamba, Dingras, Ilocos Norte and currently residing at Apache St. Clark Field, Mabalacat City, Pampanga was arrested by operatives of Police Station 3, Olongapo City after a concerned citizen reported to police about the presence of a suspicious person at Parola Beach, Parola, Lower Barangay Kalaklan, Olongapo City.  

It was found out that reported person turned out to be SABANGAN who is a notorious robber and has standing Warrants of Arrest with monetary reward for series of remittance centers robberies in Luzon, particularly in Bulacan, Cavite, Makati, La Union-Pangasinan and Olongapo City.  

Sabangan who has been hiding since 2016 is currently at the custodial facility of Police Station 3, Olongapo City Police while coordination is being made to police units where he has standing Warrants of Arrest.
