Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Still under strict adherence to the observance of the IATF standard health protocols, Catholic members of the Central Luzon police force headed by PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON  attended the Ash Wednesday Mass together with other Officers and uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of PRO3 earlier this morning, (February 17)  at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent and all practicing Catholics annually attends mass.

REV FR PLTCOL HEINTJE CAÑETE, PRO3 Regional Chaplain said that this year’s prayer intentions and reflections are for the upkeep of peace and order in the region and the health and safety of both PRO3 personnel and their families.  

Although PRO3 is one with the public in the observance of Lenten Season, it continues to implement its public safety campaign and heightens its police presence in places of public convergence. (PIO-3) ###

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Aside from the continuous anti-criminality and anti-illegal drugs efforts of Police Regional Office 3, the campaign against loose firearms and explosives is also being intensified to rid society of illegal firearms and explosives which are instruments of crime in line with the guidelines of PNP Chief PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS.  (PIO-3)

Relatedly, on Monday, Fe A Rotaquio and Alemar Alcantara,  Barangay Tanods and residents of Brgy. Matawe, Dingalan, Aurora  personally turned-over to authorities twenty (20) pieces of explosives device (dynamite), nine (9) meters detonating cord and four (4) meters time fuse which was accidentally dug on a vacant lot at Brgy Matawe, Dingalan, Aurora.

"I am calling on all owners of firearms and explosives that are either unlicensed or whose licenses have yet to be renewed to voluntarily surrender their firearms and explosives  to authorities or coordinate with the nearest police station. We will not charge or arrest them,” PRO3 Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said. (PIO-3)

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Atty Julieta P Rañeces, NAPOLCOM 3 Regional Director was warmly welcomed by the men and women of Police Regional Office 3 when she graced their Traditional Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, February 15, 2021.

The NAPOLCOM 3 head together with PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON pinned awards to personnel who performed exemplary gaining headway for PRO3's operational and administrative accomplishments.

Quoting Jackie Earle Haley in her speech, Atty Rañeses reminded PRO3 personnel that we cannot please everybody. All we can do is really just try to work from the heart and do the best job that we can and hope for the best.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Fifty (50) members of Liga ng Manggagawang Bukid (LMB) has withdrew their support to Alyansang Magbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon (AMGL), on Tuesday in Guimba, Nueva Ecija.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that in line with the program of the government, the Nueva Ecija Provincial Task Force- ELCAC and COPLAN PANGHIHIKAYAT ALPHA of 2nd PMFC led by FC 2nd PMFC together with PIU-NEPPO, RIU3, RID PRO3, 303rd MC RMFB3, 84th IB 7ID PA, 3rd CMO 7CMO BN PA, DILG GUIMBA, GUIMBA PS and KKDAT Members facilitated the Withdrawal of Support and Oath of Allegiance of fifty (50) members of Liga ng Manggagawang Bukid (LMB) at Brgy Pacac, Guimba, Nueva Ecija.

The top cop of Central Luzon further remarked that PRO3 together with all member agencies of the RTF-ELCAC 3 will continue this whole of sector approach on mass surrenderers and returnees to the fold of law to achieve peace and national unity.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3 head PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON, on Wednesday, personally received more than 20,000 Bibles from the North Luzon State of Gideons International in the Philippines headed by Bro. Jaime Dela Cruz, Vice President.

Bro Dela Cruz said that the Bible is a valuable spiritual tool that can bring change into one’s life. He encouraged police officers to promote the spirit of giving as this is an investment to one another.

For his part, PBGEN DE LEON assured the NLSGI that indeed the bibles will be put to good use. He furthered that the Bible is a special weapon because during the tour of duty,  police officers meet various challenges wherein some of which require spiritual intervention.

"This is also very timely because the PNP is now focusing on spiritual reformation in its “internal cleansing program”.(PIO-3)
