Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga— Nine (9) former rebels voluntarily surrendered to authorities and turned-in their firearms, Thursday, May 6 in Nueva Ecija.
Joint elements of 1st PMFC NEPPO, 703rd IB PA, together with PIU-NEPPO, Bongabon MPS, Gabaldon MPS, 303rd MC RMFB 3, RIU 3, RID, 703rd Brigade 7ID PA, 91st IB- Alpha Coy and Delta Coy PA and 22nd SAC, 2nd SAB SAF spearheaded by PCOL JAIME SANTOS, Acting PD, Nueva Ecija PPO, facilitated the voluntary surrender of former members of CTG and Milisyang Bayan namely: @Bay, MB SRC 4A4; @June, MB KLG West SPC; @Lando, member SYP Aurora; @ Mylene, MB KLG West SPC; @Rod, MB KLG West SPC; @Owel, KLG West SPC; @Lani, NEMRC SDG; @Jockson, reg member KLG West SPC; and @Jerry, reg member KLG West SPC. They also turned in one (1) cal. 38, one (1) shotgun, one (1) cal. 45, one (1) improvised 5.56 rifle, and one (1) m16 rifle.
