Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that the weeklong anti-crime drive of Central Luzon police from May 3 to May 9 yielded 1,050 individuals including wanted persons, illegal drugs and assorted firearms.
Among the 1,050 arrests, 135 persons have standing warrants of arrest, 161 were nabbed for illegal drugs and188 were accosted for illegal gambling while 566 were apprehended during implementation of search warrants and for violating local ordinances and other special laws.
A total of 337 pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 234 grams with DDB value of Php1,922,542.04, 37 were seized along with the confiscation of assorted loose firearms and bet money amounting to Php120,888.00.
