Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga—A suspected drug peddler died during an anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation turned shootout with authorities in Zambales on May 31.
Based on the reports of PCOL ROMANO VELAYO CARDIÑO, Acting PD, Zambales PPO, joint elements of Subic MPS and Zambales 2nd Mobile Force Company conducted Anti-Illegal Drugs Operation (Buy-Bust) at Brgy. Cawag, Subic, Zambales which turned into a shootout resulting in the instantaneous death of Larry SALAMAN y Sakib, male, 36 years old single, fisherman, elementary graduate, and a resident of Purok 6B, Barangay Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales.
Recovered from SALAMAN were two (2) pieces sachets of suspected shabu with estimated weight of more or less 2.09g with estimated street value of Php13,585.00; two (2) pieces of Php1,000.00 bill with serial numbers JB075192 marked with initials “FTF-1” and QC916038 marked with initials “FTF-2” (buy-bust money); one (1) unit llama pistol with magazines loaded with live ammunition; one (1) unit of single motorcycle; and several cartridge cases
