Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga—Authorities were able to seize Php3.4M worth of suspected illegal drugs while one (1) suspected drug peddler died during an anti-illegal drug operation turned shootout on Saturday, August 7 in Bulacan.

According to PCOL LAWRENCE CAJIPE, PD, Bulacan PPO, joint operatives of SOU3 PNP-DEG and Marilao MPS conducted anti-illegal drugs buy-bust operation at #478 Sta. Rosa 2, Marilao, Bulacan that turned into a shootout resulting in the death of Tony CABAS resident of Blk 4 Welfare Compound, Brgy. Addition Hills, 

Mandaluyong City.

Evidence recovered were six (6) plastic bag of suspected "shabu" weighing approximately 550 grams with DDB estimated street value of Php3,470,000.00, one (1) unit of cal. 45 pistol Colt Automatic with SN 53487 and three (3) boodle money with 2 genuine Php1,000.00 bill a marked money.

"With the constant arrest and neutralization of illegal drug personalities as well as the unremitting commitment of Central Luzon police force to stop its proliferation, illegal drug traders will have less opportunity to propagate illegal drugs," PRO3 Head PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said. (PIO-3)
