Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga - A cop is now facing both criminal and administrative charges for allegedly extorting money from cargo trucks in Pampanga on June 4.

According to PCOL ARNOLD THOMAS CABOGAO IBAY, PD, Pampanga PPO,  joint elements of IMEG-LFU, Apalit MPS and 3rd Battalion 35th SAC conducted entrapment operation along the intersection of Quezon Road Mc Arthur highway and San Simon exit, Apalit, Pampanga against a PNP personnel and members of Truck Ban Traffic Management Office -Apalit that resulted in the arrest of PCpl Leomar CALEGAN y Barizo, 37 years old, married and resident of Brgy Maimpis, San Fernando City, Pampanga;  Marlon DE GUZMAN y Yabut, 39 years old married, resident of Danga, Colgante; Menard MENDOZA y Gaddi,  32 years old,  resident of  Sta Lucia Matua, Masantol, Pampanga;  Michael MANIULIT, 50 year old, resident of Muzon, Colgante, Apalit; and Noel MANARANG y Mendoza, 23 years old, single and  resident of  San Vicente, Apalit, Pampanga.

Seized from the group were assorted identification cards; PNP ID; one Caliber 9 mm pistol, Glock 17 with serial number PNP 51168; two magazines, 30 pieces ammunition, cash amounting to Php804, 170.00 believed to be the total amount of collected money from truck drivers and two pieces Php500 bills entrapment money.

"The PNP has zero tolerance for any form of misdemeanor more so criminal conduct by any of its personnel and we work swiftly sparing no effort to ensure that such criminals who endanger the public's safety are dealt with firmly and severely in accordance with the law," PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said.

PBGEN DE LEON added that getting rid of all lawless elements in the community as well as weeding out of scalawags and erring cops in the PNP is the standing directive of PNP Chief PGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR in his Intensified Cleanliness Policy (ICP).

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga—Three (3) suspected drug peddlers were arrested by authorities during an anti-illegal drugs operation while more than 400k worth of shabu were seized in Pampanga on Thursday evening, April 29.

Based on the report of PCOL ARNOLD THOMAS IBAY, PD, Pampanga PPO, operating units of Floridablanca MPS DEU conducted buybust operation at Barangay Apalit, Floridablanca, Pampanga which resulted in the arrest of Jeffrey MANALILI y Ballao @Jeff, 33 years old, single, online seller; Mylene REYES y Pahimolin @Mylene, 30 years old, single, online seller; and Alice MAHINAY y Cinco @Alice, 30 years old, single, housemaid, all presently residing at Blk 53 Lot 53 Barangay Apalit, Floridablanca, Pampanga.

Seized from their possessions were six (6) pieces of small to large pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 61 grams amounting to Php414,800.00, one (1) Caliber 38 without serial number loaded with Five (5) live ammunition and Php2,000.00 bill as marked money.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- More than Php 1.7 million worth of illegal drugs were seized by authorities and three (3) individuals were arrested following an anti-illegal drug operation in Nueva Ecija, Saturday (March 13).

According to Nueva Ecija Police Director PCOL JAIME SANTOS, operatives of Cabanatuan City Police Station- DEU and CSOG under the supervision of PLTCOL BARNARD DANIE V DASUGO, Acting Chief of Police, conducted anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation at Zone 1, Barangay Camp Tinio, Cabanatuan City which resulted in the arrest of Teresita FRANCISCO y Nuñez @ TESS,  49 years old, married, jobless; Michael CORREA y Montes @ PALENG, 38 years old, single, vendor; and Celedonia CASERIA y Jaime, 66 years old, single and seizure of fifty three (53) pcs heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing substance believed to be Shabu weighing approximately 250.23 grams with street value of Php1,701,564.00 and Php 500.00 marked money.

Appropriate charges for Violation of Sec 5 and Sec 11, Art II of RA 9165 are already being prepared for filing in court.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- A member of Aniban ng Manggagawa, Magsasaka, Mangingisda at Agrikultura (AMMMA) an underground mass organization (UGMO) under Alyansang Magbubukid ng Gtnang Luzon (AMGL) affiliated with the CPP/NPA/NDF voluntarily surrendered himself to authorities in Tarlac on Friday, April 30.

RCSP team of 2nd PMFC- Tarlac PPO together with PIU TPPO, RID3, 73rd MICO, 7MIB 7ID PA, NAVAL Intel Group NL, 3rd MIB PA, 304th RMFB3 and Paniqui PS facilitated the surrender of Ka Beloy/ Ka Romy in Victoria, Tarlac.

The surrenderer also turned-in one (1) unit Smith & Wesson Magnum.357 Pistol Revolver with serial numner ACW1210 MOD 19-5 together and nine (9) pcs live ammunition.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga--- Fifteen (15) persons were arrested in the two-day separate anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by police authorities in Angeles City, Bulacan, Pampanga, and Tarlac on February 9 and 10.

Operatives in Angeles City were able to arrest Jean Jerald ESCANILLAS y Ignacio @Jean, resident of Brgy Tabun, Angeles City; Ronald LINO y Mainza, resident of Brgy. Sta Trinidad, Angeles City; Karen AGNIS y Liwanag of # 622 San Antonio, Mexico, Pampanga; and Alfredo LIWANAG y Tuazon @FREDA, resident of Brgy Sta Trinidad, Angeles City.

Bulacan Police authorities were able to arrest the following dentified as Mark MERCADO y San Luis @MACTUM, resident of Brgy Bambang, Bocaue, Bulacan; Gener SANTOS y Nuñez @ Bombel, resident of Brgy Longos, Malolos Bul; Peejay SAGAD y Cruz, resident of Brgy Bambang Boc. Bul; Rodolfo LOPEZ y Valero, resident of Brgy Bambang Boc. Bulacan; Rodel CASTILLO y Sumcad @ Tintoy, resident of Brgy. Taal, Pulilan, Bulacan; Ramon SIONGCO y Camangan @Ramon, resident of Brgy Sagrada, Hagonoy, Bulacan; Alfonso Victor TANGLAO y Beclong @Pons, resident of Brgy Guyong Sta. Maria, Bulacan; and Jaime INOCENCIO y Leon, resident of Brgy. Batia, Bocaue, Bulacan.

Maynard CABRERA y Pangilinan, resident of Brgy San Francisco, Magalang, Pampanga and Joel VICENTE y Mariano, resident of Guanzon Subdivision, Sta Cruz, Magalang, Pampanga were arrested by operatives in Pampanga.

Tarlac Police operatives were able to arrest Edmar DOMINGO y Orlanda, resident of of Brgy Capehan, Tarlac City.

Confiscated from their possessions were fifty-seven (57) small to large heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu with estimated weight of 11.71 grams amounting to Php87,208.00 and Php5,100 bill marked money and five (5) pcs of small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected dried marijuana leaves with estimated weight of 30 grams amounting to Php3,600.00 and Php500 bill marked money.
