CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Doing their share in the maintenance of cleanliness and in support to the PNP Chief PGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR who is the frontrunner of cleanliness in the PNP thru his Ìntensified Cleanliness Policy, Police Regional Office 3 headed by its Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON participated in the simultaneous clean up drive of all members of the PNP nationwide on May 25 (Tuesday).
PNP personnel from the different units inside Camp Olivas along with the different PPOs armed themselves with brooms, rakes and other cleaning tools to clean the camp surroundings especially the vicinity of their respective units/offices.
“Today, more than ever we need to promote a clean and healthy surroundings and workplace especially as we face the hurdles of the current health crisis to ensure that we are safe from further spread of diseases and other hazards brought by unclean surroundings. As we effort on cultivating our camp by renovating and reconstructing our buildings, we also effort to continue advocating a healthier workplace for us through the Brigada Opisina,” PBGEN DE LEON said in his message. Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 headed by PLTCOL FITZ A MACARIOLA, Acting Force Commander, RMFB3 in partnership with Mayantoc police and kind-hearted private individuals offered community service to an Aeta community in Mayantoc, Tarlac on May 15.
RMFB3 personnel and Mayantoc police rendered relief operation, free haircut, distribution of slippers, and feeding program to the 60 Aeta families at Sitio Calao, Brgy. San Jose in Mayantoc, Pampanga along with a tree planting activity.
The activity is in line with the PNP's "BARANGAYanihan” which aims to help those who are less fortunate and poorest of the poor who are greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Anchored on the marching order of the Chief, PNP PGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR on Internal Cleansing Policy, we are doing the best we can to reach all four corners of the region to deliver quality public service especially to our Indigenous Peoples (IPs) from far flung areas which serve as the breeding ground of insurgents,”PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said. Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- With overflowing support for the Barangayanihan project of Police Regional Office 3 regionwide, PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON could not thank enough the different local government units, stakeholders and partner agencies who immediately responded to this humanitarian drive for families greatly affected by the ongoing pandemic.
In Mabalacat City, PLTCOL ROSSEL CEJAS, COP Mabalacat CPS received donations from Vice Mayor Geld Aquino, CDO Foodsphere Inc. and Gardenia to sustain the Barangayanihan project of Mabalacat police.
Meanwhile, Cuyapo MPS Officer-in- Charge, PLTCOL ERWIN FERRY said that over 200 bags of relief goods and vegetables amounting to more or less Php 50,000 were donated by private individuals and stakeholders thereat.
"Police Regional Office 3 is fortunate to have members of the society who generously contribute their resources to ensure the well-being of our kababayans. Thru their continued support, the Bayanihan spirit lives on," PBGEN DE LEON added. (PIO-3)
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON extended his gratitude to San Leonardo LGU headed by Mayor Froilan Nagaño and Representative Maricel Nagaño and its residents for their support to the Barangayanihan project o the PNP in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija on Monday, May 3.
A total of 200 families were able to avail themselves of basic goods like vegetables, rice, sardines, eggs and noodles.
The PRO3 Handgun Proficiency Drill was also held after the Barangayanihan at the Nipa Hut Shooting Range, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija participated in by PNP personnel from the different municipal/city police stations of Nueva Ecija.
The event was conducted purposely to hone the marksmanship proficiency of all the participants which is also in line with the guidelines of the Chief PNP, PGEN DEBOLD SINAS on skills enhancement of all PNP personnel.
"We can never stay sharp and quick if we stop honing our skills. As members of the PNP, we are duty- bound to serve and protect the people, we need to be sharp and precise all the time," PBGEN DE LEON remarked to the cops during his message.
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3, Mabalacat police and AVSEG 3 under the supervision of PLTCOL ROMELL A VELASCO, Acting Chief, RCADD in coordination with PCADG- PNP International Help Desk and OWWA distributed food packs and PPEs to ten (10) returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) on Monday at the Clark International Airport, Clark Freeport Zone, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
The ten (10) returning Overseas Filipino Workers (Ship Crew) were previously held hostages by the pirates in West Africa last March 11, 2021.
"This is one way of showing that the police is always ready to extend support to everyone from all walks of life. Our OFWs also need to our assistance and as agents of the state, we have a social responsibility to also help those who are neglected, "PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON, RD, PRO3 stated.
