CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Doing their share in addressing global warming and climate change and in adherence with the Focus Directives of the CPNP PGEN DEBOLD SINAS " Kapulisan para sa Kalikasan", PRO3 policewomen and female non-uniformed personnel conducted a tree planting activity at Brgy Ayala, Magalang, Pampanga, early Tuesday morning, March 16.

 A total of 100 seedlings of fruit and non-fruit bearing trees were planted in said environment protected area during the half- day activity. The tree-planting activity was simultaneously held region wide by all female personnel with Mrs Jennifer Amparo, spouse of PRO3 Chief Regional Staff PCOL JONAS T AMPARO as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Hon Bienvenida Bautista, Barangay Captain of Brgy Ayala, Magalang, Pampanga and Ms Lea Rodriguez DENR rep other members of the Officers Ladies Club 3 were also present during said activity.

The month of March is celebrated annually as Women’s Month under Proclamation No. 224 in recognition of the critical role of women in economic, cultural, political, social and other spheres in the nation’s life. PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that “PRO3 upholds the significance of the PNP core value "MAKAKALIKASAN" and will continuously empower its personnel in preserving and protecting our environment.”(PIO-3)

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3 has been reaching out to sectoral groups who have withdrawn their support to the CPP-NPA as part of its on-going program to monitor their current situation.

On March 3, 2021 at about 1:00 PM, the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division headed by PLTCOL ROMELL A VELASCO together with Mr. Franz Liam Arabia, KKDAT Regional Vice-president,  PLTCOL JORDAN SANTIAGO, Chief of Police, Pandi, Bulacan, and Anti- Crime Community Emergency and Response Team (ACCERT) distributed relief goods, IEC materials and personal protective equipment to 100 female members of ANAK BAYAN and KADAMAY surrenderers who have pledged allegiance to the government held in Padre Pio, Pandi, Bulacan in time for the Women's Month Celebration.

"I am urging those who are still actively fighting the government to lay down their arms and embrace other peaceful means. Our government has several programs to retool you so that you could all become even more productive members of our society, " PRO3 Head PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said. (PIO-3)

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Doing their share in addressing global warming and climate change and in adherence with the Focus Directives of the CPNP PGEN DEBOLD SINAS " Kapulisan para sa Kalikasan" as support to the Greening program of the National Government, Police Regional Office 3 under the leadership of PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON, RD spearheaded a Tree Planting Activity at Brgy Ayala, Magalang, Pampanga, early Friday morning, February 17. 

More than 100 PRO3 personnel led by Acting Chief, Regional Community Affairs and Development Division PLTCOL ROMELL A VELASCO planted the 500 seedlings of fruit and non-fruit bearing trees in said environment protected area.

On February 25, 2021, in time for the 35th EDSA People Power Revolution, personnel of Regional Intelligence Division, Regional Community Affairs and Development Division and Tarlac PPO led by PLTCOL ROMELL VELASCO, Acting Chief, RCADD together with KKDAT Spokesperson Mr Franz Arabia distributed grocery items and hygiene kits to Alyansa ng Manggagawang Bukid ng Asyenda Luisita at Brgy Cutcut, Hacienda Luisita, Tarlac City.

Also, updates on the creation and registration of cooperatives for the group was presented by PCOL DAVID POKLAY, C, RID wherein he initiated same during his tenure as Tarlac PPO Provincial Director for them to have livelihood programs.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga -- The men and women of Police Regional Office 3  joined in the simultaneous interfaith prayer rally on February 4, 2021 led by Rev Fr PLTCOL HEINTJE CAÑETE, Regional Pastoral Officer, PRO3.

PRO3 Head PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that the event is in line with Senate Resolution No. 1002 which declares every first Thursday of February as the National Synchronized Interfaith National Prayers for Peace and Reconciliation.

Police field offices regionwide also organized the same activity in their respective PPOs/CPOs and stations.

Said activity was initiated by the PasaLord Prayer Movement, an interfaith movement enjoining all Filipinos of various creed and denomination reciting the Pasalord prayer to pray for peace, unity, and prosperity for the whole world.

"Our people need to know that even the police are praying for them and praying with them for their intentions. Communally, we will lift their prayers for the Lord, " PBGEN DE LEON added. (PIO-3)
