Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- In its continuous support to the Greening Program of the government and Focus Directives of the CPNP PGEN DEBOLD SINAS " Kapulisan para sa Kalikasan", Police Regional Office 3 headed by PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON RD, PRO3 joined the Police Community Affairs and Development Group led by PBGEN ERIC E NOBLE during the Inspection, Guard Mounting, and Tree Planting Activity spearheaded by Undersecretary Edilberto DC. Leonarda,  Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)  at Biak Na Bato National Park, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan on January 30, 2021.

The activity with the theme “Rebuild our Nature to Ultimately Save Ourselves” was also participated by General GERALD BANTAG, Chief, BUCOR, PRO3 Command group and Regional Staff, BGEN ANDREW COSTELO, 703rd Brigade, 7th ID PA, DENR3 key officers and ENRO Officers/Foresters from the provincial and municipal offices in Bulacan. After the activity, the PNP C.A.R.E. program was conducted with around 100 participants composed of PNP personnel, forest ranger and force multipliers in attendance.

PBGEN DE LEON said that “as public servants, it is but right to take the lead to campaign on how we can help save our environment. This is our counter measure on the climate change that we are experiencing today. The trees that we have planted today is not only for ourselves, but for the future generation.” (PIO-3) ###

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Doing their share in addressing global warming and climate change and in adherence with the Focus Directives of the CPNP PGEN DEBOLD SINAS " Kapulisan para sa Kalikasan" as support to the Greening program of the National Government, Police Regional Office 3 under the leadership of PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON, RD in partnership with DENR3-PENRO Pampanga spearheaded a Tree Planting Activity at Brgy Ayala, Magalang, Pampanga, early Friday morning, January 29.

More than 100 PRO3 personnel led by Acting Chief, Regional Community Affairs and Development Division PLTCOL ROMELL A VELASCO and PENRO foresters planted the 500 seedlings of fruit and non-fruit bearing trees in said environment protected area.

PBGEN DE LEON said that “PRO3 upholds the significance of the PNP core value "MAKAKALIKASAN" and will continuously empower its personnel in preserving and protecting our environment.”

Prior to the tree planting activity, the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement forging a stronger partnership for environmental protection between the PNP-PRO3 represented by PBGEN DE LEON and DENR3-PENRO represented by Mr Laudemir S Salac was conducted. (PIO-3)

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON and his team accompanied Senator Lawrence “Bong” Go during the distribution of food assistance to the less fortunate and vendors in the town of Plaridel and to the fire victims in Marilao, Bulacan on Tuesday (January 19).

Nearly 2000 relief packs including shoes and tablets for students were distributed to the families affected who in turn expressed their gratitude to the senator.

Also present during the activity were Vice Gov Wilhelmino M Sy-Alvarado, Marilao Mayor Ricardo M. Silvestre, Marilao Vice Mayor Henry R. Lutao, Plaridel and Mayor Anastacia Vistan.

After Sen Bong Go left Bulacan, PBGEN DE LEON proceeded to Doña Remedios Trinidad and distributed bags of groceries to the needy residents.

"This forms part of our social responsibility initiative. We don’t only serve and protect our communities; we also go out of our way to give them what they basically need especially during this pandemic” PBGEN DE LEON added.

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Doing their share to protect the environment, the Sta Rosa Municipal Police Station led by PMAJ FORTUNE DIANNE A BERNARDO, Acting Chief of Police in close coordination with the local government unit, municipal MENRO and barangay volunteers of barangays Lourdes and Mapalad, Sta Rosa, Nueva Ecija initiated a clean-up drive and tree-planting on January 19, 2021.

This advocacy aims to promote Environmental Protection Program to boost the existing initiatives relative to community assistance and development program.

Relatedly, PMAJ BERNARDO spearheaded the disinfection of the Sta Rosa Municipal Police Station.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that, “I commend the efforts of Sta Rosa police for this undertaking because this is the best time we need to promote a clean and healthy environment especially as we face the challenges of the pandemic to ensure that the community is safe from the spread of diseases brought by unclean surroundings. Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- The Regional Community Affairs and Development Division under PLTCOL ROMELL VELASCO in partnership with the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo 3 (KKDAT3) Mr Franz Liam Arabia, Regional Vice President of Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo 3 (KKDAT3) distributed grocery packs consist of rice, canned goods, noodles, condiments and bottled water to 170 indigent families a day before New Year’s eve at Barangay Pantalan Luma, Orani, Bataan and Barangay Central, Balanga City, Bataan.

Moreover, information dissemination was also conducted thru distribution of IEC materials regarding SAFE SPACES ACT, ANTI CHILD ABUSE, VAWC and ELCAC.

PRO3 Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that this simple gesture of kindness would make the indigents feel that the government and the police care for them and are giving their best to bring excellent services closer to the people so as not for them to be entice to join or to be recruited by the CPP-NPA.
