Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga—Central Luzon Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that nine (9) suspected drug peddlers were arrested by authorities during separate buy-bust operations in Angeles City and San Fernando Pampanga on June 15.
According to PCOL ROMMEL BATANGAN, CD, ACPO, elements Angeles City Police Station 1 and DEU operatives of Police Station 4 conducted separate anti-illegal drug bust operation along Molave St. Purok 5, Malabanias, Angeles City and Jasmin St. corner Surla St., Pulung Bulu, Angeles City which resulted in the arrest of Reynaldo AGSANGRE y APRICANO @Hawkins, resident of 3227 Villa Paz Sta. Teresita Angeles City; Danny SAY y Alipio, resident of 1097 Araw Malansic Park 7 Brgy. Sta Teresita, Angeles City; Maria Teresita PASCUAL y Guibo, resident of 3238 Villa Paz. Park 3 Sta. Teresita Angeles City; Mariz QUINTO y Pare, resident of 1171 Roxa St. Dau Mabalacat City, Pampanga; Arnold GUIBO y Baluyut @Soy, listed as a High Value Individual, resident of illa Paz Sta. Teresita Angeles City; and B-Jay BALAJADIA y Miranda, resident of 3003 Villa Paz Sta. Teresita Angeles City.
Seized from the suspects were nine (9) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 70 grams amounting to Php476,000.00.
Similarly, Khalib MUSTAPHA y Anggun, resident of Brgy. San Pedro Cutud, City of San Fernando, Pampanga; Lord ALMONTE y Ramiro, resident of Brgy. Del Carmen, City of San Fernando, Pampanga; and Federico PANGILINAN y Miclat, resident of Bagong Bayan, Angeles City, Pampanga were arrested by SDEU operatives of Mexico MPS under overall supervision of PCOL ARNOLD THOMAS IBAY, PD, Pampanga PPO thru buy-bust operation at Brgy. Lagundi, Mexico, Pampanga. Seized from the trio were six (6) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 15 grams amounting to Php102,000.00.
Total evidence collected from the suspects were fifteen (15) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing 85 grams with an estimated DDB street value of Php578,000.00 and Php2,000.00 bill as marked money.
Violation of Sec. 5 in relation to Sec. 26 and Sec 11 Art. II of RA 9165 is being readied for filing in court against the suspects.
The top cop of Region 3 lauded the operating troops and stated that "With the constant arrest of illegal drug personalities in the area as well as the unremitting commitment of Central Luzon police force to stop its proliferation, illegal drug traders will have less opportunity to propagate illegal drugs."
